Sprouts Childcare is a fully-licensed child care centre that helps your little Sprouts grow and thrive. We offer part-time and full-time child care programs for children from 2 months to 5 years old (Thornhill Campus), 12 months to 12 years (Alliston Campus) in a warm, gentle and welcoming environment where every child has a chance to truly blossom.

Every classroom at our child care centre is staffed by fully trained, Registered Early Childhood Educators, possess current licenses to practice and up-to-date 1st Aid Certification. We are your Trusted Partners, fully engaged to creating a nurturing, fertile environment that encourages development, self-esteem and a joy of learning.
Sprouts Child Care Centres is a Charter based company where each employee has reviewed and committed to our Charter and is living it to the best of our abilities. Our Charter speaks to our higher purpose, and our values. Our Ruby has blossomed like i never imagined. She goes to school happy and excited everyday and comes home happy, talkative and loves her friends.
We're conveniently located in Thornhill on Yonge Street just south of Hwy. 407 and minutes from the Langstaff GO Station) and in Alliston (on Boyne Street). Transit and highway access could not be easier. Safety is our main concern. Our child care centre uses a secured-entrance system only unlocked by Parents/Guardians and staff ensuring unauthorized guests do not have easy access to the child care.
At Sprouts Child Care Centre we believe that play is the natural way a child learns. It is the way he/she learns to concentrate, problem solve, exercise his/her imagination, try out new ideas and to develop a sense of independence and control over his/her world. Within our program children are viewed as competent, capable, curious and rich in potential.

My husband and I recently enrolled our daughter at Sprouts Child Care and we couldn’t be happier with our decision.
Everyone at Sprouts Child Care, especially Kristine and Ms. Poornima, have made this transition as seamless as possible for our daughter and us!
They take such good care of our little girl and keep us posted on how she is and how her day is going. It is a very safe, clean and friendly environment. They provide great snacks and meals, and always have the cutest learning exercises. I love all the updates and pictures. It really gives me peace of mind knowing I can drop my daughter

I have both my children at Sprouts and we couldn’t be happier! They are patient, caring, professional and my kids love going there everyday! The activities that they come up with are fun for the kids but they are also learning so much. The staff have great and open communication with parents and are always available to talk. I know my kids are in the best hands!

Our experience at Sprouts so far has been nothing but positive. The teachers Kiara and Jocelyn are extremely dedicated, passionate, and they tailor learning activities to the needs and interests of their students.
Kristine, the coordinator, has been fantastic with communicating with us, and is also hands-on with the students when required.
Really love the updates and pictures the teachers provide daily through the HiMama App, and also a great way to communicate directly with the teachers.
My son loves it there, and I am looking forward to enrolling my son next year! Highly recommend!

My son started last September 2021, every drop off time he will cry. But the teachers helped me adjust and always make sure that he is okay. Now he doesn’t cry anymore drop off and pick up. I always see his smiles and I know he is having a great time everyday. They send the pictures of the activities they do throughout the day which I really love.The teachers are very approachable and kind and they do truly care about the kids.

This daycare was a tough one to stay in. My family was initially promised a spot for our son when he hit 12 months old (January) and when my wife's Maternity Leave was set to end. 3 months before this date and on the day of our virtual tour, we were told there was an error, that they had miscounted and we'd have to wait until the following June, an extra 5 months to get into the facility. The toddler room only can have 5 children, meaning the person who handled this could not count more than 5.
Should've been a big warning sign.

We started bringing our son to Sprouts at 14 months old and he is now in the preschool room. The staff at sprouts are amazing, they made our transition to child care so easy for our entire family. The quality of care and communication to the parents is outstanding. We will be bringing our second son to Sprouts when the time comes.

The teachers at Sprouts are all incredible. They are kind ,caring and they treat the kids like their own. I dont understand the negative reviews, I think its unfair to rate an entire daycare so low based off of the owner's actions. My two and half year old son has been going to Sprouts for over a year now and he absolutely loves it there! I can't speak highly enough about the teachers and the supervisor Kristine. We are so happy with the level of care the staff have at Sprouts! The Manager Kristine and the rest of the staff are very attentive to our Son, keep very clear and frequent lines of communication with us, and ensure the children are engaging in fun and developmentally appropriate activities. Pictures and other important updates are posted frequently throughout the day on the HiMama app to keep parents engaged. I would 100% recommend this care facility to friends and family for their children.

Again to reiterate previous reviews, the staff is great. I loved my child's teachers and the director of the facility.
The owner is terrible! We constantly fought over monthly payments, deposits and being over charged!
My suggestion to anyone sending their child here is to pay by cheque ONLY! DO NOT LET THEM AUTO WITHDRAW! They won't provide you a breakdown of the days you're being charged for or a receipt.

The best aspects of Sprouts are most of its teachers, the email application used to share updates/photos and the philosophy they are trying to implement. They just fall short. It did seem a bit chaotic; which makes it more difficult for both the children and staff. More importantly, my daughter didn't want to go and cried almost every day before she attended. She did not do this at her first daycare and hasn't since starting school and switching to a new daycare. I am so grateful that I didn't start her at 12 months here as I may not have known she didn't like this daycare specifically rather than
