Open Space Yoga in South Delta offers a full schedule of traditional yoga classes throughout the day: Hatha, Slow Flow, Yin, and Restorative yoga classes, along with Core Strengthening yoga classes and Mat Pilates. Services
I started practicing yoga years ago to improve my flexibility and strength for other sports. I was surprised how much my overall strength and muscle definition increased. And how much my mental focus improved in sports, at home, and at the office. As time passed, yoga went from being something I did to prepare for other sports, to being my sport.
All classes except our Beginner 101 Yoga Course or special events are Drop-in or purchase a yoga pass. In 10 years we have never turned anybody away. Just turn up 5-10 mins early and somebody will look after you at the front desk before your class. Please bring it to your first class and give it to your instructor, or hand it in to the front desk any time before your first class (copies of the form are available online and at the front desk.).

Class participation subject to space availability (however in 10 years we have never turned anybody away!). Passes can be used for all classes except Beginner 101 or any other pre-registered course or event. All memberships and passes have an expiration date and are non-transferable and non-refundable.

I recently joined a beginners' class at Open Space Yoga and it's the first time I've done an in-person fitness class since COVID-19. The only reason that I felt comfortable signing up here was because of their fantastic communication about their safety protocols. It gave me a sense of calm and reassurance that they cared about my well-being and that was the extra push I needed to feel good about joining the class.

Started with OSY only in the summer before Covid hit and once Covid hit, I have been doing classes live virtually and now the studio is open in addition to live virtual classes. I now practice with OSY 5 to 6 times a week and I am hooked. The instructors are all top notch and knowledgeable and Gerry, the owner, looks after all of us like one big happy family. I am so blessed to have found OSY and be a part of the OSY community! Love it so much....thank you to Gerry and all the awesome instructors.

Before I took the 8 week beginner's course, I had never been to a yoga lesson in my life. To my great surprise, I found I love it and have been going back regularly since. It'a a pleasure going to this lovely studio where the welcome is warm, the instructors consistently great and the pleasure of the good workout stays with me all day. Namaste is my new favourite word.
