Not very happy with my overall purchase experience. After I bought the vehicle and contacted them to ask more questions or have them do repairs they ignored me completely. They just want your money and put on a friendly face during the whole process, then become jerks afterwards. Classic dealership thing of them to do.

After having just crossed over on the ferry to start our new venture here on the island, we needed a car and with the very high rates for rentals, we needed one fast!! A very helpful employee at Budget told us about Shannon Motors and I'm so thankful because wow, what a great place to buy a vehicle!! Steve, our salesman was so accommodating and definitely not pushy like you hear about some car dealership guys! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, this guy has ripped off so many people!!! Anyone I've spoke to that has dealt with them have said stay FAR AWAY! He pressures people, talks down to women, was caught lying by 3 mechanic shops and the VSA.
He sold my friend a truck for what we found out later was about $4,000 over value and significantly more then that once it was inspected. The very next day a mechanic looked at the truck and the rear differential needed to be completely replaced, three different dealerships confirmed the diff needing replacing and that there was ZERO way they didn't know, PLUS the rear brakes

Sold me a lemon! I bought a 2010 Honda Odyssey and 6 weeks later the engine misfires. Turns out the local Honda Dealership had previously recommended $5k of engine work on the vehicle to keep it running which the work was never preformed. When I complained I was told that due to my attitude I wouldn't be getting any help from them. Super awesome customer service! NOT! Upon pulling a single spark plug the engine repairs were very clear. The vehicle is throwing codes and the oil level is extremely low which indicates and internal engine oil leak as the level was ok when we checked when we bought

A++!! Caring, professional, and honest folks! I was visiting Parksville on a Saturday afternoon when I heard unhappy noises from one of my rear brakes and called Shannon Motors, one of the few places who do service on a Saturday in the area. Not only did Jess immediately dig in and see if she could get parts right away but she even found it was a known problem with my vehicle. All this took 5 minutes and 2 hours later I drove away with a safe vehicle and guidance on what to watch for and do proactively for this brake issue. Wow! Thank you Jess and the team at Shannon Motors for being AWESOME!!

Awesome service. Very helpful, affordable and accommodating. And they were honest about unnecessary work that didn't need to be done. Jess and Steve gave great advice. I prefer to shop local and these guys were great.
