Have tried on more than one occasion to get a quote on tires. Their online tool to select tires is very user friendly, and you get a quick reply that a quote will be sent within 48 hrs. But that's where it ends. No quote is ever sent. Don't waste your time, Wayne's tires or Canadian Tire Gravenhurst are better options.

I have dealt with Rocky Island for more than 20 years. In all that time I have been treated with courtesy and professionalism. I am always greeted by my first name although my visits are often many months apart. In a recent exchange with owner Greg I was treated with respect and understanding. A little problem was quickly resolved. Both my wife and I appreciate the welcoming and friendly atmosphere at Rocky Island Tire and we are happy to recommend them whenever we can. Called to fix a nail I had in the tire. They told me they were booked for the next 2 months. Clearly didn't want my business. What I didn't mention is that I had to replace all 4 tires. The other tire shop that accepted me couldn't fix the tire b/c the nail was on the side. I purchased 4 new tires at $1,300. Glad I gave it to a business to someone else. Will never recommend or EVER these guys. Bad business owners.

The folks at Rocky Island saved our holiday. We had blown a tire on the first day of our holiday, 700km from home! We arrived at their shop in Bracebridge, and they were able to find two (specialty) tires and a rim in record time and had us on the road again within 1 1/2 hours. Extremely professional and sympathetic team, thanks again for bailing us out of a rather difficult situation. Highly recommend this business!

Just a quick visit for an oil change, but its the same as always...friendly, competent staff, great mechanics, excellent customer service, quality products/parts. Not always the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and the little extra cost is well worth it.

Recently, due to a slight, unanticipated glitch I faced waiting an extra hour for my car to be serviced but the scheduling/organizational wizards and technicians at Rocky Island Tire in Bracebridge managed to scramble and get me out right on time!
On two other separate occasions this summer they also graciously addressed crazy flat tire situations we encountered. Their ability to adapt to the unexpected with excellent customer service is much appreciated. Especially outstanding in these complicated times.

I can't say enough about this place. I was driving from North Bay to Toronto, had a blow out on the 400. I got the spare on then started calling tire places to replace all 4 tires (they needed it). It was about 430 pm, everywhere said they were closing at 5 so couldn't do it. Rocky Island said get the car there and they would wait around. We rolled in right at 5, when they should have all been going home, they pounced on the car like an F1 team. They were excellent on price, super nice, and really helped us out of a bind, as I was on a space saver tire that would not have got us home
