King, has a knack for custom designing based on your requirements, personality, and lifestyle while respecting your budget. We use a combination of old-world handmade techniques as well as hand-carved wax and "lost wax" casting.
At Aeron E. King, Goldsmith Ltd, your jewellery is important to us. We have one of the best-equipped gemmological labs in the area to ensure all required testing is done without having to send your jewellery elsewhere. All appraisals are done by a qualified GIA Gemmologist & Appraiser. Our Gemmologist can help when the identification of a stone is unknown.
Our goldsmiths have years of experience handling all types of repair jobs, some that are quite creative! Even if you were told elsewhere "it can't be done", there's a good chance we can do it! The best part is that nothing leaves our store so you can rest assured your jewellery is safe with us. We size rings, repair chains, change watch batteries, fix earrings and broken claws, replace missing or damaged gemstones and even repair eyeglasses.

If you need to have your jewellery appraised and you're in the Cochrane/Red Deer/Calgary area, go see Barbra Ann King. She takes the time to really have a good look at your pieces and assesses them fairly. She also cares about keeping up-to-date on what's happening with gemstone treatments and with a new machine in-house to test metals, this is the place to go.

Aeron is a true artisan. We took in 2 lovely pieces of 'ammonite' & an array of old gold jewelry. From that we left with 2 amazing gold pendants which he designed. Felt he was always interested in designs which suited the 2 different ammonite pieces; total professional & friendly experience. Highly recommend.

Aeron is a total pro. Came in with my very own design for exactly what I wanted and Aeron made it real. Fantastic workmanship, reasonable pricing and a portfolio that will make your jaw drop. He's always happy to see me the moment I walk in the door. I wish I could give him an extra star, 6/5. The picture doesn't even do his work justice. I am still awe struck by the incredible workmanship of mine and my husbands wedding rings!! The whole experience was amazing, Aeron and Barbra Ann are so kind and genuine, and incredibly talented! He helped us come up with some ideas, taking into consideration that I work with horses but still wanted classy and unique; it turned out even better than I could have imagined.

I had Aeron rework my wedding band set, as after 32 years they were in rough shape. Being slightly superstitious (my mother got new rings after 25 years but they didn't make it to 30th anniversary) I wanted as much of my original set incorporated in my new rings. I took in some old earrings as well and Aeron worked magic with the whole lot. I love my "new" rings!

My husband and I had our wedding rings custom designed by Aeron. Our experience right from our first encounter was extremely wonderful. We felt welcomed and cared about. Aeron took time to get to know us and what we liked. His artistic and creative vision and superb goldsmithing created rings for us that we truly love. Our rings have heart and a story. Not only are they beautiful (I get compliments all the time!) but also affordable. We could not be more pleased!!! I love dropping by the shop regularly to visit with them and have Aeron check on my ring. But most importantly I love my ring!
