Daily Cupcake Menu Report

Black bottom chocolate and cream cheese cake with chocolate chips frosted with our vanilla cream cheese frosting. Rich Chocolate cake topped with milk chocolate buttercream and mini callebaut chocolate chips. Moist Mexican vanilla cake topped with our wonderful vanilla buttercream frosting and garnished with colourful sprinkles.

Custom Cakes Report

Full size cakes are available in any of our flavors and are priced as follows based on standard decorating. Our cakes are baked to order and made fresh the day of pick up. All cake orders must be prepaid due to the custom nature. The below prices are based on a buttercream frosted cake filled with either buttercream, cream cheese or a specialty filling (with the exception of a fresh fruit filling which is an additional cost).

Faq Report

We encourage you to place your orders early as it is hard for us to predict when we will be booked up. Often we can make a cake or custom cupcakes with 24 hours notice and will do all we can to accommodate your time frame. Please allow longer lead times for large orders or special occasions. Regular deliveries are made between 10am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Very friendly and courteous staff. I had a Blueberry cheesecake and a coffee and I enjoyed it a lot. I also liked the cafe theme bringing me back to older times. I will definitely be coming back.

They are slow for special orders. I tried to do a special order for a birthday cake a week in advance and they told me it was not possible. The earliest they could do this was 4 days later because they were totally booked. If they cannot keep up with the orders, then they should open up another store.

Far too sweet which is odd considering how awful the owners political views happen to be. I’d eat a cupcake from Coleman’s off the bottom of my show before I’d set foot in this store again. For clarity the owner has the right to believe what she wants and I have the right to reach as I see fit.

Dropped by for some cupcakes and cookies. Favourite was the Oreo cupcake! Friggin deadly. Really nice staff too. Will be back for more!

Usually does not have a good selection of vegan products. Besides this, the icing isn’t terribly great nor are most of the products here. I have gotten better vegan treats from other bakeries and even sobeys at a fraction of the price . I throughly recommend trying somewhere else .

I will not spend another cent here. The owner is running for political office on a PPC platform that can be called nothing other than blatant white nationalism - calling for the "end of official multiculturalism" and "preserving Canadian values."

I used to go here from time to time, and while the prices were a little high, I didn’t mind supporting a local business. However, in lieu of the fact that the owner of this establishment announced her candidacy to run for the PPC, I will no longer be spending my money here. I will not support a business with an owner running a political campaign rooted in xenophobia, bigotry, anti-science (anti-mask and anti-vaccine), a pro-life agenda, and climate change denial. People like this are an embarrassment to the local business community and an embarrassment to the province, and rightly do not deserve

Been buying cupcakes here since I was young. Definitely have a different taste but they are so good. They also sell hot cinnamon buns and cookies if you arrive early enough to get them before they are gone😛.

Love, love, love this place! It's our go to spot for treats and some mom and daughter time. They have a big selection of cupcakes, both small and regular size. Cookies are soft and delicious, different designs for different occasions. I seriously think they have the coldest milk lol. I always recommend this place to anyone looking for treats.

This place is all about cupcakes - and includes a decent range of vegan and gluten-free so that everyone can enjoy. Get there early to take advantage of the full range... as the day goes on, Sugar Mama's is likely to sell out of their most popular kinds. We tried the lemon, carrot cake, vanilla with rainbow sprinkles and just for comparison sake, vegan chocolate with vanilla icing and sprinkles. All were moist, flavorful cake, with equally flavorful icing. There is nothing quite like it in St John's, in terms of being able to produce really great cake with icing to match.
