Al Scott Lock & Safe Ltd. was started in Vancouver from the ground up in 1973. The first service truck was a 1963 GMC pickup truck with a homemade camper that served as the shop. The business was started by Allan and his wife Eileen Scott.

Lock picking. They say "no extra fees or charges on the phone. 5he after five minutes work, they hit you with $370.00 fee just for coming out to do a service call! Notice the positive review here are for copying keys in store, heck! A twelve year old without training can copy a key in a convenience store! And crooks like Al Scott lock and key has a dozen names and phone number to scam you! Beware, Google CBC Marketplaces expose on crinal locksmiths overcharging ... I sure wish I would have, but alas, I simply googled "locksmith near me" and of course their Google ad showed at the top of the list

I come here frequently to change the locks and copy the keys for my job boxes at work. The girl here is very efficient, everytime I go here I'm in and out within 5 minutes. Unlike most places, the keys always work, I've never had a problem. Even when I'm getting a couple locks changed, I don't need to come back for them, the girl there does them very quickly.
One thing about this place that I don't like is the parking. The reason I'm writing this review is because when I came here earlier this week the girl pointed out the parking police crossing the street and
