When your pet is sick we offer laboratory services, radiology and hospital care in house. We also offer Spinal Manipulation Therapy for your pet, if needed.

Services
As a young child, I was fascinated by animals and had my heart set on becoming a veterinarian. I obtained my BSc from the University of Guelph in 1987 and then went on to pursue a degree in Veterinary medicine, graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1992. My passion has always been veterinary medicine and I enjoy all aspects of the profession.
Your pets health is our priority. Through regular wellness examinations, ideally done at least once yearly, we are able to help maintain your pet as healthy as possible. Our knowledgeable doctors and staff will make recommendations about feeding, dietary needs, dental care, nutritional supplements, internal and external parasite control.

Have a loving staff, and they genuinely care. Have brought all our animals to them and they have been by our sides though everything happy and sad.

Nottawasaga Vet Hospital is by far the best animal hospital! We drive an hour and it is so worth the drive. The people are amazing!! Kelsey was wonderful with our puppy today as she had a bad nail, she took the time to explain to me everything and made me feel comfortable ! Cyndy the receptionist is amazing as well! All in all, everyone is wonderful. I would give them 100 stars if I could!! Thank you .

We brought our extremely ill, senior Golden Retriever in. I only gave them about an hours notice as it was an emergency. We didn't have to wait at all and she was promptly brought in for tests. The Vet returned with a reasonable quote and a thorough explanation of our dog's illness and then took her in for emergency surgery. Their entire team was compassionate and helpful, my dog never seemed scared or uncomfortable. The surgery was done perfectly with no complications, it healed beautifully and our dog is fully recovered. Our dog couldn't be happier and we couldn't be more grateful!

I can’t thank Dr. Wagner and staff enough. Steel went in for a neuter, micro chip and a dew claw removal. They called to inform me he needed some baby teeth extracted of course I approved but receiving that… phone assured me I took him to the right spot, they called multiple times throughout the day to pick me posted on his recovery and at pick up time provided me with all the information I needed both verbally and written notes personal to him not some generic form. Thank you so much for making this trip less painful for me.

I just wanted to take a minute to Thank Nottawasga vet for their services! around xmas we had to have our dog put down and of course it took until now to thank them for there compassionate care. and what a nice surprise to get a thinking of you card in the mail!! fast forward to this pandemic, they took every protocol and got my kitten In right away. they have fantastic customer service and treat our pets as their own!! 5 stars!!!

Nottawasaga Valley is such a kind, caring hospital for our fur babies. Our little Jordi was very ill in December and they gave him such wonderful care. Dr. Stephanie went above and beyond to get to the bottom of his illness. She was kind, compassionate and so caring. All the staff there were there for Jordi, my husband and I during his time in the hospital. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Dr Laura, and the staff we have met so far have been no less than extraordinary. Dr Laura is the first veterinarian I feel I can put my trust and faith in, for a long time. She is compassionate, patient and understanding. She has been gentle with our special rottie, calling him “honey bear”, and gives him 100% of her attention. She tends to think… out loud which I love, and she includes us in her thought process the entire way. She has paid great attention to each small detail, and even pointed out things that were not mentioned to me at the previous clinic for this ongoing issue
