Take 5 Dance was founded 16 years ago when Jesslyn Truax started with no students, just a love for teaching dance. With a lot of hard work and through word of mouth the studio has now grown tremendously over the past 16 years. All students, recreational and competitive, will receive high quality instruction from well educated, well rounded, experienced instructors who have taken all styles of dance throughout their dance careers.
Our BRAND NEW 5,000 square foot facility houses 3 large studios under one roof. Each studio is well equipped with Rosco professional sprung dance floors, over 18 feet ceilings, professional sound systems, mirrors (floor length), and mounted barres. Our new location also has plenty of parking, a waiting area, change rooms for both girls and boys, bathrooms, teacher area, office, and lots of storage.
Recreational and Competitive classes at Take 5 Dance are taught by our incredible faculty of creative artists. A Spectacular Annual Year End Show at a beautiful full theatre with costumes, makeup and lights for all dancers. Whether you dance recreationally, competitively, or for career training, we offer a fun and exciting program for all students.
Our competitive team is comprised of all ages and levels. Our competitive programs challenge and excite every dancer with a variety of fresh styles and choreography. Our competitive program is by selection only. His or her teachers or the studio director from your regular classes chooses each student.
