Appointment bookings may be made during regular clinic hours by calling 780-459-5581 (Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm) or through the Medeo online booking program. When a patient is unable to attend an appointment, the clinic MUST be notified within one business day of the scheduled appointment.
If the clinic is not notified, the appointment will be registered as a 'no show' appointment. When a patient is a 'no show' for a scheduled appointment, they will be notified by telephone. A $40 charge may be applied following a second 'no show' appointment. A third missed appointment may result in ongoing Clinic care being reviewed.

Services
Grandin Medical Family Practice Clinic has two clinics to serve you! One is located in St. Albert as our main office and we run another satellite clinic at our Morinville location. Please note that prices may vary depending on the service or form provided. The forms department may require up to 30 business days to process all letters, forms and other requests.
We are changing the way we deliver care for you! The physicians of the Grandin Medical Clinic are excited to participate in a new Alberta Health program that will improve the way we offer care. This new model allows us to care for our patients more proactively, involving our entire health care team, including Physicians, Registered Nurses and Pharmacist.
We ask that when you get your last refill from your pharmacy that you call the clinic to book an appointment for your prescription refills. If you are unable to get an appointment before your prescription runs out, book the next available appointment with your family physician and then contact your pharmacy and see if they will cover you until your you appointment date.

I have been a patient of the st albert grandin medical clinic for most if the last decade. My mother, my father, my partner, my son, my daughter are all also long term patients of this clinic. Dr. Hilner and some of the other doctors are absolutely fantastic additions to the medical field and their dedication to their patients should be applauded. That being said, some of their colleagues, specifically their current (new front end receptionist staff, certain doctors) make it painfully clear that their first and foremost priority is not patient care, but instead the money that comes from working

Tried to make an appointment on August 4, 2021, was told to call back on August 17, 2021 because the whole month is booked up. So can’t even get an appointment with my family doctor within a month. I don’t understand why the doctors take on so many patients, they can’t even take care of the ones they have. Very disappointing.
Edit- now I have to wait over an hour to get a receptionist to answer the phone and when they did I asked what took so long and she said everyone is answering the phone and hung up on me. This doctors office is ridiculous and unprofessional. Receptionist staff are rude

My wife and I have been clients of the Grandin Medical Clinic for over 40 years and Dr Bell has been wonderful, attending to our physical and emotional needs with the utmost professionalism. Last fall we were informed of Dr Bell’s pending retirement and given 3 doctors that would be willing to accept us as new clients and told to call Dec 15 with our decision. On Dec 15 we were told to call Jan 15 then were told to call Feb 15 only again be pushed off until March 15. While all we were seeking was a confirmation of where our files will be transferred we were informed that all the doctors appointments

I'd like to share my experience recently with Grandin Medical Clinic. First off, I'd like to say that the doctors are fantastic. My wife's family and mine have been going there for years. But recent events forced my hand, and I had to leave the clinic and find another doctor. I saw the on call Doctor after I hurt my ankle quite badly;turns out it was broken and I needed to immobilize it for 4 weeks as per the doctor. Due to my occupation was not able to work. My employer required Short Term Disability forms to be filled out by my doctor in order to approve my pay after 5 days of missed work. I

My 76 year old mom has been going to this clinic for 20 + years. She has been seeing Dr. Brocken and very satisfied with him. This week she called to make an appointment to get a requisition for a MRI that she is willing to pay for to shortened the wait time that she would otherwise face.
The clinic recently switched to a call centre for appointments bookings and she was told when she called that she had to wait two weeks to see the doctor for the 5 minutes she needs to get the signed requisition.
The clinic has a walk in clinic but they do not let people which Doctor is on call so this does

I love my doctor he is wonderful. But I felt like a school kid being reprimanded in front of a class. His receptionist raised her voice at me because I didn’t register my paperwork with administration before I went in. I honestly didn’t think about it. I just gave my doctor my paper work like I had done for the past 15 years and we talked about how I was feeling. I understand we all have a job to do but sitting there and raising your voice at me and talking down to me is unacceptable. I’m sure the rest of the waiting room sure enjoyed the show. I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t be impressed

Grandin Clinic has some great staff working there. The receptionists are always nice and understanding. My GP is amazing and really takes time to talk to me and get to the bottom of what's going on. The other doctors at the clinic are really great if I need to go to the walk-in. They are really understanding and knowledgeable. The mental health nurses are good to talk to and can help you get through life challenges. There's an X-ray clinic in the basement so you can head downstairs to get that done, often on the same day. The clinic gets really busy and can get behind, like all clinics now a days
