Beyond The Batter Cupcakes

Used to come here often for a treat while I'm traveling to Hamilton for work. Absolutely LOVE their cupcakes: a great size with superb quality to match! Their flavours are unique, cake is moist with very delicious buttercream. I will be heading back to Hamilton for more :)

Love this place! We went here in December and I forgot to post a review. I’ve been thinking about these cupcakes recently so it reminded me.
Very very good quality cupcakes. They are fresh and taste amazing. The Hershey’s one that I had here in the picture was my favourite. The icing is good and not overwhelming like icing usually is. The cake part was moist and fresh. The price is pretty good here too, less expensive than most bakeries and it is worth it. I split three flavours with my wife and daughter. IIRC it was Monster Cookie, Smarties, and Snowmountain or something along those lines. In any case, I didn't like them and neither did my wife. The buttercream was alright. One of them was somewhat bitter. The sweetness was overall lacking.

This store is always closed at times they're supposed to be open. I have visited this place three times, never able to buy any cupcakes because it's never open.
Update: Monday, Nov 1st. Please change the store hours on Google because they do not match with what you say on your response. It's prone to confusion. I was there again today following Google information. You have to update. Thanks.

Delicious cupcakes! Peanut free facility. For my daughter's birthday treat wasn't sure which one to get so eneded up getting each flavour and everyone at the nursery loved it

Bought a half dozen to bring up for a cottage vacation. They didn't last the first hour and half of the trip because they somehow made their way into our bellies before we got there!
They were so flavourful and moist without being overly sweet.
we also tried a chocolate brownie and a chocolate iced cookie which were both just as delicious.

There cakes do taste good. It’s ok to order for a birthday but I do NOT recommend to order for weddings. I had given a simple picture of a cake and had given instructions on how I would like the cake to look and I was given a plain three tiered cake with no designs on. I am currently being given a full refund but the cake did ruin my wedding. It was something I was looking forward to as I heard many good things about this bakery and I was very disappointed. Do not recommend for weddings

The cupcakes are absolutely amazing! This place is absolutely my favorite. The best part is that they have different flavours every day. Noreen (I hope I got that right) is also the best. I definitely recommend this place

Really awesome tasting cupcakes, well worth the price and size. Super moist cake and tastes great days later. I put mine in the fridge and warmed it in the microwave. It was hard not to buy more as there are always so many great flavours to choose from. The icing is a generous portion but too sweet for me. I tried va va vanilla, carrot cake and red velvet. Easy to order during this pandemic, just go to the door open it and pick your flavours. Will definitely be back to try more flavours.

I stopped in yesterday to pick up cupcakes to surprise my boyfriend & my two sons when I got home. I saw the Facebook post about reopening, that’s why I came in. The lady there was so pleasant even though she… was SUPER BUSY! She was all alone and handling it very well, much better than I could have done. Juggling a telephone order, as well as a lineup at the door. (I got there at a great time no one was in line, and as I left there were about 7 people behind me!) the cupcakes and cookies filled with icing were DELICIOUS. my favourite was the midnight craving.

Just went in and there were so few kinds left because Beyond the Batter is THAT good!!!! Plus the service was beyond impeccable. I don't know who helped me, but we had a good laugh over a typo, and I've got a great cupcake to look forward to when I get home! xo

Cupcakes! Went in to get cupcakes for a customer's birthday party and the reviews we got was awesome. Now if I need to admit it, yes I ordered an extra one to make sure the quality was over the top. There is a price tag with these little beautifies but you get what you pay for! Enjoy. Thumbs up!
