Pricey, but ohhh so tasty!
Worth noting for first timers: During patio season you go into the building to order and pay. They will give you a number to take to a table of your choice outside and a server will bring you your food.

Had the Hot Honey Chiken burger everything from presentation to flavour to texture & tenderness was on point hands down best burger I’ve eaten in Canada! I took a day to think about it & it’s easily 10/10
Even ketchup is made in-house & it goes so perfectly with the fried & all the flavours of the burger sheeesh coming back here for sure
Aint nothing better than a clean haircut & some fresh burgers

Only 4 because I have only tried 2 products: pain au chocolat and crownout and I love it! Super recommended. The texture and consistency is great and the butter amount of the pain au chocolat is on point

Great cafe and bakery with wide selection of sweet and savoury baked treats. Very friendly service staff that was quick but not pushy taking orders on a busy morning.
We really enjoyed their bacon and egg sandwich on a croissant, spicy tomato dipping sauce added a nice kick. Their O town croissant donut are big enough to share, crispy on the outside with soft flakey layers, they have a variety of filling depending on the day. Their London fog drink was on of best I've ever had, very creamy.

Great local bakery serving a variety of take-home loaves, desserts and pastries, coffee, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and even sourdough pizza on Thursday’s through the weekend. Of course, I tried their famous cronuts (croissant doughnuts), called O-Towners, which I hear typically sell out early in the day! Their flavours for the day were a vanilla caramel and a pear cranberry, the second of which was my favourite. The subtle, yet aromatic fruity flavours turned out really well against the pastry. I would suggest enjoying the O-Towners fresh, as they tend to get a bit soggier towards the end

I saw the bakery on a segment on The Food Network and knew when I was planning my trip to Ottawa from New Brunswick that I had to stop there and try it. Well I was blown away with how delicious the breakfast sandwich and fries were. The fresh baked bread was so good. Their pastries were amazing. Our favourite being the Otowners. My friends is from… Ottawa originally and I asked if they had ever been and they hadn’t. Well I introduced one of my friends to it - we stopped for breakfast and to get some treats for the 12 hour drive home. Amazing yet again. She is now a fan too. Can&rsquo

Solid meal here - avocado toast was nice and the croque madame was incredibly rich. Definitely pop a lactaid or 6 before coming. The fries were not lacking in the salt department, that’s for sure but no worries about that on my end. The staff were friendly and happy to change out a coffee for an iced. Nice patio too.
Will come back for some of the pastries tho, didn’t get a chance to have one.

For Mother’s Day, my kids ordered and picked up a mouthwatering selection of pastries (the cinnamon buns are to die for) as well as a quiche and salad. We can honestly say the quiche is the BEST we’ve ever eaten. It melts in the mouth. We will definitely be ordering one again sometime soon. Absolutely divine.

First off: GET THE KRONUTS their pastries are so delicious.

However, this review is about their burgers! Still a solid place that my family goes to because we find their mains and desserts quite delicious.

The staff is really friendly and this place, generally, gives off a sense of community and I really love that vibe!

Ka-POW !

pickle lovers should tie up their bibs--Art-is-in absolutely dills it with this sandwich. After sampling the tantalizing texture and soulful taste of the main course, quaff an O-Towner pastry. They're crazy.

This restaurant is horrible. They don't advertise thier ingredients. My wife had an allergic reaction to the seasoning on the fries (it was not advertised that the fries were seasoned) when she called to find out about the seasoning they showed no care or concern about her food allergy. I strongly recommend that you do not go to this place if you have Any food sensitivity or alleegies.

Their pizza, pasta and "Dinner-at-home" specials are outstanding. I'm a regular for their breakfast sandwiches. Gourmet food, friendly staff and a real appreciation for their customers. This place is one of Ottawa's gems.

Location: I'm not too sure but it kind of felt like an industrial building! There's a large parking lot so parking isn't an issue.

The place: They've got ample indoor seating and a patio set up in the lot right outside their space. We were only going to buy bread so we didn't stick around. This place does get line-ups and it was no different when we went (Saturday). The line was well set up with everyone respecting the 2M rule. The bakery was allowing only a certain number of people in at a time, and masks were enforced.

The goods: Great rosemary & garlic bread

Came here for brunch, which was fine, but the money's in the pastries.
I had the eggs benny with candied bacon. The bacon tasted like those ready-crisp microwaveable strips. Would have liked the bacon to be thicker and more candied, personally. The potato cake also left something to be desired; the outside was crispy but the inside tasted completely undercooked.
The cinnamon bun, in the other hand, was absolutely delicious. Even the bites without the cinnamony swirls. I also tried the strawberry peach Kronut, which was perfectly flaky and sugary!
Will definitely be back for pastries, but

I REALLY wanted to like this place, but I can't. It's SUPER loud, between the music at too high a volume, the barista constantly banging on things, the kitchen clanging, people talking and it being a warehouse with no sound dampening surfaces besides people, it's an overload to the senses. Honestly, that plus the caffeine, my nerves are fried. It is noisy and CHAOTIC and in no way relaxing.

On to the food: I got avocado toast, a kronut, a maple latte and an espresso.... For $31, which seems high to me. On top of that, I could not hear the girl who took my order. She and I both had

Still enjoy this place. Busy though so try to avoid the core hours if you can - otherwise plan to stand in line.

There are a few notable things about this business...
Great bread.
Great pastries.
Great breakfast/ brunch.
Good coffee.
This is a business that listens - they constantly tweak to improve. Haven't tried it yet but they now do pizza in the evenings on weekdays.
Good customer service and attention to keeping tables cleaned and turned.

Would I return? Yes
Would I recommend? Yes, highly.
