Ruth is Dr. Motakis primary nurse and plays a vital role in all pre-operative and post-operative care. Ruth brings over 10 years of nursing experience to the practice and has worked with Dr. Motakis for over 4 years. In addition to being the clinic nurse she is also the practice manager. She oversees the daily operations of the office and ensures that patients are met with a friendly, safe and comfortable environment.

Facelift, also known as rhytidectomy helps reduce the effects of facial aging, giving patients a more youthful, refreshed and rested appearance. It repositions the cheeks to their younger position and restores the sharp contours of the jawline and the neck. If you are unhappy with how weathered and tired you look around your lower face and neck, a rhytidectomy procedure may be right for you.
Chin augmentation is a procedure performed to improve the lower facial profile, which can often optimize a person's appearance. Most patients commonly combine chin enhancement with rhinoplasty, as this helps balance facial proportions. Dr. Motakis's goal is to augment the chin in a fashion that would improve the overall aesthetic appearance of the face by creating a harmonious balance of all facial features.
Buccal fat pad reduction, also known as cheek fat reduction, is a procedure done by Dr. Motakis to remove excess fat from the lower part of the cheeks creating a more defined and sculpted facial appearance. For some patients, larger than usual buccal fat pads or "chubby cheeks" may be genetically inherited and may not be possible to lose through normal diet and exercise.
As the eyes are an aesthetic focal point of the face, in many people eyelid surgery can significantly enhance their appearance.
