Here at the Advanced Therapeutic Centre, nothing is more important to us than your care and comfort. We understand that you may have suffered with pain for many months, years or even decades - and that you may have tried many treatments, remedies and methods with little or limited success. Quickly, accurately and thoroughly identify the root causes (also known as "contributing factors") of your pain and injury.
A system of diagnosis and treatment based on the concept that the nervous system coordinates all of the body's functions, and that disease results from a lack of normal nerve function. Chiropractic employs manipulation and adjustment of body structures, such as the spinal column, so that pressure on nerves coming from the spinal cord due to displacement (subluxation) of a vertebral body may be relieved.
At the Advanced Therapeutic Centre, one of the Lasers we use has 7 Health Canada Approvals. Lasers heal tissue by stimulation it with photons or light energy. The light energy - photons, is absorbed by the cells and is convert to complex biochemical substances which the cells and tissues use to eliminate pain and heal the tissues.
Contemporary Acupuncture takes an ancient therapy and re-defines its mechanisms and effects using present-day scientific understanding of human physiology. At first glance, Contemporary Acupuncture may look strikingly similar to traditional Chinese acupuncture. Small thin needles are inserted into various points in the body, including hands, feet and scalp, and left in place for a period of time before removal.

Dr. Kim is exceptional! I have been suffering from extreme neck pain for several days (to the point where I couldn’t get out of bed and contemplated calling 911 to come help me). So I decided to book a chiropractor appointment to see if it could help provide some relief. I was nervous because I didn’t think she would be able to help me at my first visit due to the amount of pain I was in but I was nervous for no reason and ended up getting an adjustment (that was very much needed) and not as painful as I thought it would be considering! I am a computer engineer working long hours at my computer. My job puts lots of pressure on my back, neck and shoulder causing lots of pain and discomfort to the point that I was unable to move my head and had to stop going to work. After only two sessions, my pain was mostly gone and I had enough rang of motion to go back to work. Dr Don worked a few more sessions on my neck and shoulder to fix the root cause and now I am totally fine. He also gave me some exercises and tips to maintain a good posture as well as strength of the muscles of my neck and shoulder, thank you Dr. Don!

Don Fitz-Ritson has so many tools at the ready to help one with one's health issues. I feel so blessed to know him and to be able to call on him when I have a problem. His chiropractic skills and knowledge are basic to all the work he does; chiropractic adjustments, the laser for healing joints, relieving pain, and for clearing calcium deposits in vertebrae etc., and the NIS Neurolink program, working with the neurological systems of the body to clear out the causes of health issues .

Dr. Fitz-Ritson has been wonderful. He is very pleasant as well as informative and does not overwhelm me with too many exercises or instructions. I find it easy to go home and follow his exercises and advice and I can really see an improvement from one visit to the next. Katrina at the front desk is also a joy and very considerate. You will feel very well cared for and never pressured. I felt that Dr. Fitz-Ritson was concerned and yet positive from the first visit and his gentle and polite demeanor are refreshing.
