Services
Our program at Jacob Hespeler Child Care Centre is a reflection of our philosophy and belief that children best learn and grow by being actively involved in their environment both indoors and out. It is important to us to provide the best possible environment to assist the child to develop to their fullest potential, in their own way.
We are licensed by the Ministry of Education and abide by all the regulations of our local Public Health Unit. Arrange a convenient time for your family to have an introductory tour of the child care centre. In the event of a serious occurrence, we want to ensure no time is lost getting your child the support they need.
Operates ten high quality innovative child care programs in Waterloo Region serving children and their families. Provides services for children from Infant to 12 years of age on a full time and/or part time basis. Our new location in South West Kitchener, Janet Metcalfe Child Care Centre, is now open and offering Infant, Toddler, Preschool and Before and After School Care along with PD Days and Summer Programming.
Jacob Hespeler Child Care Centres is a not-for-profit organization providing inclusive high quality child care services to children from Infant to 12 years of age, which includes positive support to their families. We are currently searching for individuals to join our Board of Directors. This is a volunteer opportunity for parents and community members to learn about the inner workings of the organization and help in it's direction.
Jacob Hespeler Child Care Centre is committed to excellence in serving all customers including people with disabilities. We will ensure that our staff are trained and familiar with various assistive devices that may be used by customers with disabilities while accessing our goods or services. We will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability.

My daughter used to attend the preschool, we moved far away from Cambridge so we couldn't continue with them. The best day care so far. The teachers are friendly, loving and caring. They helped her greatly in her speech. She totally loves the place and we miss them greatly. I would like the teachers to keep up the good work, as we the parents totally appreciate them.

Professional. Transparent. Caring. My daughter went to JHCCC for several years and she loved it! She was part of the junior care, and when she was old enough joined the older children in the after school program. The activities are enriching and fun and the ECE's are wonderful! It gave me great peace of mind to know that my daughter was being well taken care of, safe, and happy.
