The practice of keeping the mouth, teeth, and gums clean and healthy, as by regular brushing and flossing and preventive dental care. Crown Isle Dental provides routine regular check-up exams, emergency examinations, and thorough new patient exams. The gentle delivery of local anesthetic to help keep dental appointments comfortable and relaxing, we may offer mild oral sedations.
Dr. Clancy received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Manitoba in 1988 and began her career in dentistry with the Canadian Armed Forces. Dr. Clancy has been practicing family dentistry in the Comox Valley since 1991. She is highly respected in her field for her high level of technical skill, professionalism, and careful eye for details.
If a tooth is heavily damaged by decay or wear and is more "filling" than "tooth" wouldn't it make sense to repair it in a stronger way than trying to fill it?. If I lost a tooth and can chew fine without it, and I don't care how it looks, why should I replace a missing tooth?. Medical research has observed a connection between poor oral health and other health conditions such as heart disease, stroke, and bacterial respiratory infections.
Crown Isle Dental has been our dentist since 2004. Even though we have moved to Qualicum Beach, we come back for her excellence in dental care. The hygienists and dentists provides the very best service in preventative dental health. All the staff are courteous and helpful. We would not go anywhere else.

Holly, Sarah, Caitlin and the entire Crown Isle Dental staff were incredible during my most recent visit. I am a nervous visitor and they went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. After a terrible experience elsewhere, I truly feel that everyone here is first rate and will be making this my families official dental office. I suggest you do too!
