Jesse Fisher is a master craftsman. He created beautiful furniture at his shop on Salt Spring Island Canada before moving to Portland in 2012. Melding elements of beauty and simplicity, his works have found their way across North America and Europe. Jesse enjoyed woodworking from a young age. From helping in his grandfather's shop as a child, to taking benchwork and joinery at BCIT in Vancouver, Jesse always felt at home in the workshop.
Antonio is a first generation Argentinian. He grew up in Buenos Aires where he studied psychology. At the age of 22 he left Argentina to explore the world. Pursuing his interest in primitive culture, shamanism and religion, he travelled and lived for years in South and Central America. He then went on to India where he lived for four years.
Painting full time since 1978, Kathryn has covered a range of subjects and used a variety of mediums. Her love of the West Coast continues to give her inspiration. Working in pastel on paper or oil on canvas she offers those who enjoy the beauty of our magnificent shores a taste of its unique character.
Peggy Bagshaw was born in Montreal, the only child of artist parents. They enrolled Peggy in art classes throughout her schooling, and she continued her art studies at Concordia University earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree. After graduation (1968) Peggy, her husband and children moved to Calgary, where she established a Stock Photo Company and worked as a commercial artist.
Jade Boyd grew up in the small country of Taiwan, influenced from an early age by the Chinese culture. After moving to North America in 1990, she resided in several cities, big and small, starting out in Brooklyn, New York and finally settling on Galiano Island, BC, which is now her home. All the experiences gathered from living in different environments have helped to broaden my vision.
