This pandemic has hit us all very hard. With all the stores closed for in-person shopping, many of us had to resort to the use of the Internet and that proved to be very difficult, especially if you were looking for something very special to impress your wife on her birthday. Cue in The Avenue Gallery with their fantastic personnel (I am looking at you, Kathleen and Heather) that is so knowledgeable, helpful and ready to assist you in any way they can. My wife present arrived in perfect condition and super fast. Even though it was a very delicate glass piece whose transportation made me very nervous

Avenue Gallery is my favourite gallery in Victoria, so when we renovated our house I looked there for the perfect piece of art for a feature wall in our home. I found the perfect painting, which the gallery owner, Heather, personally came and hung for us. Having Heather come in person to our home means a lot to us, so that this special painting by Shinah Lee is perfectly placed in its feature location. The pieces that Heather chooses for her gallery are unique and inviting. there is no pressure to buy - just super welcoming people and exceptional art in paint, glass, pottery, sculpture and jewellery

I'd been eyeing Val Nunns' baroque pearl pendant for awhile. Online purchase was painless and delivery was quick. It was everything (and more: the pearl is sooo huge!) that the photos demonstrated. So clean and elegant: I will treasure it! Customer service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this gallery!

Amazing art gallery run by wonderful people. I have been there when they have had an artist painting and they even had wine and cheese for the out for anyone who came in to watch. It was such a nice experience seeing such beautiful art being created. The store is filled with gorgeous art that ranges from paintings to handmade jewelry. I highly recommend stopping in if you are ever in Oak Bay.

I have had the pleasure to know Heather for many years now. She is without a doubt, one of the most knowledgable and kind gallery owners in the city. The Avenue Gallery has been a great source for art for many clients, and as I always say, 'a home isn't finished if you don't have a real piece of art in it'. The diversity of art in their catalogue is pretty amazing; You can always find a piece to fit your personal style.
