Services
Club Aviva's programs are under the direct supervision of Vivien Symington. Vivien is a graduate of Queens University where she completed her B.A./B.pH.E before carrying on to study in the M.Sc. In 1985, Vivien saw an opportunity to change the way that gymnastics was taught. After developing her own curriculum focusing on competence and confidence in all athletes, Vivien founded Club Aviva.
Our open gym drop-ins allow participants to use our large gym facility and our equipment in a safe and respectful manner. Gym supervision is provided but there is not instruction available at all times. Parents are encouraged to interact with their young children and remain on the premises when their children are under the age of 5 years.

We were there for our child’s birthday party, we initially had planned for 12 kids so we ordered one pizza, and we were not sure if more will show up so I called the office and I was told that we will be fine because we will also get a dozen hot dogs. However on the day of the party 14 kids showed up and we were told that they don’t have any hot dogs for us, they cut the pizza into smaller slices so more can be shared. That’s still disappointing I think some of the kids didn’t have enough. Also I thought the party leader was supposed to organize the kids do some games, but she was just

A great place that offers a range of classes depending on age and ability. Knowledgeable, friendly staff who really care about the kids. Classes not only focus on gymnastics skills but strength and conditioning. Its common for kids to be here 2, 3 times a week or even more. It's a wonderful environment.

$11/pp for a few oppourtunities to feel the effect of gravity on ur body?
In my opinion is a wee bit pricey.
If they were guided lessons maybe but I will say my kid loved it,but as I am not certified in gymnastics I lack the knowledge to truly benefit from these gymnastic beams, rings and ramps and such so in my opinion, a trained guide for correct and safe use should be included in the lofty $11 fee. Js.
I will say that my white socks were absolutely clean after our session so this tells me that they diligently clean all surfaces thoroughly.Even the lobby floors were squeaky clean. For vestibular

Apparently only one parent can be on their main email list. My daughter's father and I are not together, but Club Aviva has him as their parent contact. I have been trying since Sept. to be added along with my ex, but have been continually told it isn't possible. My child who attends Club Aviva lives mainly with ME. I have received some email but I have missed some important communication because of not being on their main list I guess. I asked about 2 months ago to be contacted by the owner Vivian Symington to discuss this and so far to my knowledge have not been contacted. Club Aviva you need

We had a problem with registration; they said they would call us back to register, but never did. Meanwhile, the class that we wanted to sign up for filled up. They were pretty good in the past but their customer service has gone downhill. Like one reviewer stated, they don't respond to telephone or email messages, even those left for the manager to call back. Not impressed.

I absolutely loved their preschool program, but was really disappointed with the youth class I recently tried out for my son. His recreational class was squeezed into tiny bits of the gym between all the important competitive training that was going on. The class was doing different things 95% on the floor in a kind of half hazard way with a young instructor who was not engaging their attention well. This is not worth $450 a term. Aviva will also not refund you the money If it doesn’t work out, even directly after the first class

WOW. There are lots of different business owners out there. These are the type of owners who care and respect their customer.
1. The place is CLEAN !!!
2. The place is WARM !!!
3. The owners care A LOT
This is our 3rd place and we are staying for many years if everything remains the same or better.
Look at my other reviews, it takes a lot to make me respect a business.
If you think about signing up for gymnastics my only concern is it might get to busy because of the great service hehehe.
Oh oh oh. Great teacher to student ratio.

I recently took my son here for his 7th Birthday Party. The boys had fun but any group of boys could have fun anywhere. The 1st thing I have to say is that Club Aviva smelled like dirty feet which makes me wonder how often they clean their floors? Upon arriving the supervisor had the kids take off their shoes and socks. The kids only get to play for 1 hour which goes by really fast. After that we were brought to a room where the kids ate pizza. Afterwards the cake was served - which left about 20 minutes for the birthday boy to open his gifts. When you have 15 kids that's clearly not enough

This is the 2nd year in a row that our daughter (now 7) has had her birthday party at Club Aviva. She and her friends all had a great time together. As a parent I was impressed with the helpful and friendly staff who take care of the set up and take down of the party room. They make it super easy for the parents. I had brought some decorations and they even put them up for me! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I feel we could use an extra 15 minutes of both play time and in the party room but otherwise it's a pretty great set up.

My daughter (4.5years) took classes at another local gym for 2 years but was getting tired of doing the same "play stations" (her words) over and over again. She wanted to progress and start to learn "real tricks". She said she would rather just do dance classes, but was teaching herself how to do cartwheels at home so we decided to try Club Aviva and enroll her in the Petite Pre-Elite class for the summer. She LOVES it. She comes home wanting to practice pointing her toes and walks around the house like a gymnast. When asked what she wanted for her birthday she replied "to be able to go to Club

My kids have been in classes at Club Aviva since they were 18 months old. The teachers have been fabulous and progress the children appropriately to challenge them but not intimidate them. Birthday parties at Club Aviva have also been their favourites. We love them and will continue to take classes there even though there are other clubs closer to us.
