We are incredibly happy to be able to offer a Fall Schedule for our dancers. For many in this industry and others, the pandemic has been a devastating time and we count ourselves lucky that we have made it this far. We want to thank you for your continued support and patience. It seems that every day has something new to figure out and it has been exceedingly difficult to keep a business going with all the uncertainties and steep learning curves.
We are very thankful to all of you that could support us during this time, and I am grateful for our wonderful staff that have been so very generous with their time and patience. We are looking forward to seeing our dancers in person and start working on what this new normal is about.

Spotlight Dance Centre is a highly respected school that is known for its professionalism and for training highly talented young dancers and performers. At Spotlight you will find an encouraging and positive environment while developing dance techniques and skills. This is mostly due to the staff and teachers who have all been a part of the school for many, many years.
Spotlight Dance Centre offers a comprehensive curriculum in the performing arts, meeting the needs of preschoolers to young adults, beginners to professionals. Individual programs have specific requirements for attire. Online classes are a great way to continue with your child's extracurricular education from the safety of home.
With over 7,000 square feet of space available, we utilize two smaller studios as well as two larger, spacious dance studios complete with sprung floors, natural lighting, and air conditioning. In addition, our facility provides a private piano room, two change rooms, four bathrooms, a student lounge, and several open waiting rooms.
Extra Costume fees may apply if Recital 2021 moves forward. As the current conditions are not conducive to do so, you will be informed if any of these circumstances change. Tickets for our Recital Performances usually go on sale in late May (if recital is a possibility). All shows have assigned seating and are at the discretion of the parents whether to attend or not.

I spent the better part of 14 years of my life at Spotlight Dance Centre. To describe my experience there is hard to put into a few words but I will try. Spotlight dance centre built the foundation of who I am today. I went through my childhood and began young adulthood surrounded by teachers who supported me, challenged me and made me feel safe to be myself in dance and in life. The friendships I made while at Spotlight are gold. When you dance in a group you learn how to be a team player, how to work together creatively, how to push eachother and build eachother up. I am proud and lucky to have

Dancing at spotlight for almost 10 years was the best decision I ever made. Throughout the years I grew a second family that I will always keep in touch with, and made my best memories there. A wonderful studio with amazing teachers who helped shape me into the individual I am today. I had the best times dancing here.

Very disappointed with the studio and had a very bad experience as a parent.
The show was well organized but some of the teachers were very rude and not sensitive to children's feelings. I was told to leave the change room so my 5 year old daughter was left alone. One of the parents that were present in the change room reported that my daughter started crying and no teacher attended to her and when the parent confronted one of the teachers, the response was that she always cries. And, I guess in their eyes it was a good enough reason to be so insensitive to chid's feelings.
