Sue and John Marinovich are now joined by Dr. Andrew Hall, and Dr. Matt Marinovich, the newest dentist at Marinovich Dental; there are now four dentists at our office.

We enjoy getting to know our patients and developing long term relationships. Marinovich Dental is a practice that has been built around families in the Trenton area. Both Kim and Kimberly have been working with Dr. John and Dr. Sue for over 20 years but you will see some newer faces up front as well. Teri joined our smiling faces in 2015, Julie in 2018 and Trish joined our team in 2019. John was born and raised in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario on the shores of Lake Superior, where he frequently visits his 3 siblings and parents. After completing his Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Windsor, he graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Western in 1990. He associated in Welland Ontario for 4 years before relocating to the beautiful Bay of Quinte in 1994 with his wife.

Technology Report

At Marinovich Dental, we feel we owe it to our patients to offer the most advanced technology available in dentistry today. The Acronym LASER stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Dental lasers use this energy in the form of light.

Using a highly concentrated beam, we can control the wavelength and amplitude of the light to precisely perform procedures that include: biopsies, frenectomies, gingivectomies, gingivoplasty, aesthetic gingival recontouring, crown lengthening and periodontal debridement.Scanning the periodontal pockets along the gum line can essentially target bacteria and reduce their numbers from billions to hundreds.

Had to cancel my appointments due to work. I get left a voicemail stating I would be charged $200 for my missed appointment. Are you kidding me??? Given the trying times your charging someone $200 for a missed appointment all I got to say is WOW!!!

Dr. John assisted our son while our dentist was closed. Our sons space maintainer had come loose and was causing him discomfort, Dr. John had him in straight away and removed it at no cost so he could be comfortable while we waited for our dentist to reopen. He and his staff were wonderful with our son and so friendly and inviting.

Dr.Sue is very gentle and takes great care, slowly injecting anesthetic so as not to cause excessive pain. Both Dr. Sue and her staff have done excellent work for me. At first I went to another dentist in town and ended up losing a tooth due to their carelessness. I just wish I had come here first! Highly recommended.

I've been a client here for years, always get the best service at this location. I went in for my first cleaning since the COVID-19 outbreak, I was a little nervous at first. It went really well, lots of precautions being taken by the dental office. Lots of signage at the door to wait to be let in at your appointment time with instructions from… receptionist. Masks on until you're in the chair, temperature read at the door, hand sanitizer available everywhere. Glass barrier between you and the receptionist. Hygienist was gloved, in a mask, face shield and disposable scrub cover throughout

To me saving a tooth (if at all possible) is perhaps the wisest approach verses extraction. Dr. Marinovich saved my tooth and did a great job at the same and 14 years later, I still have a healthy and functioning tooth.
