Unique Touch Suntanning & Hair

Bought a Unique Touch groupon and was very skeptical when I arrived and extremely satisfied leaving! I came in as a platinum blonde who'd been growing out the damage for 4 months. The owner and her co-worker worked diligently on bringing me back to a beautiful and natural ash blonde. They were friendly, honest and didn't cheap out on anything that needed to be done. Despite the salon's lack of curb appeal, I'll return because they do listen to what you'd like and do everything they can to achieve it. I will recommend to all my girlfriends!

Anna is a miracle worker. Her miracles extend far beyond the realm of aesthetics, hair and beauty. Although, she is both naturally gifted and passionate, her training is so extensive, she teaches the art and science of hair extensions. I felt her passion extend from her heart through fingertips (for 10 hours) to the ends of my broken hair and my broken heart. I walked in outside of myself and emotionally devastated by the damage I was wearing on my head for any and everyone to see. She saw that and she saw me; who I was before I broke. She gave me not only more than I paid for, more than I expected

I paid $60 for a groupon voucher for partial highlights, haircut with style, deep conditioning treatment and massage, but ended up paying much other additional charges at the salon. The highlight was only 8 foils and there was additional charge of $30 for toner, plus another $20 for long hair. The point of buying a voucher is getting a good deal, but if you're overcharged for other additional charges why bother. Might as well stick to my usual salon where I get all this same work for less. I would not recommend this salon.

I won't be returning and I doubt I'd recommend UT to a friend but I'd give them an extra half star if I could as the experience was entertaining.

You've got your beautiful young colourist with attitude who still needed instructions from the owner. If you don't like conversing, she's your gal. You've got your very friendly and experienced owner whose signature cut and style seems to be the classic bob and whose days of unique touches may be behind her.

What a fantastic experience! I went in with a package deal, with no expectations since it was my first time getting my hair done in a chair and was very excited. Sadly, we couldn't do the package since my hair didn't have any previous highlights and that was what it was for, so we went a different route and did a full set all for a insanely reasonable price! The wonderful ladies there: Anna and Vanya were excellent, they made me feel comfortable and settled any nerves I had, not only that but the work they did was outstanding, leaving I couldn't believe the transformation they gave

Just had my hair cut and coloured. I wanted it dramatically different from what it was and it turned out amazing! Anna and Vania are great colourists and stylists, I couldn't be happier with my outcome. I had layers and a balayage before and wanted a lob and highlights, she did not disappoint. I'm definitely going back for my next cut and colour.

Ana is a genius at hair colour! My hair has never looked prettier, and I am not the only one who thinks so. To my delight, I have received several (unsolicited) compliments from friends who also liked the hair colour.

I used a Groupon to have highlights in order to cover some minimal gray. Unfortunately, the highlights were so light that I now look as though I have considerably more gray. I need to go to the additional expense of having another salon fix it. In addition, I emailed them on three occasions and never received a response. Very poor customer service. Do yourself a favour....avoid!

I was worried about going as I read the reviews after buying my groupon. However, everything was great. No "hidden" fees. My dye job was great and I love my haircut. My stylist's name was Tanya and I fully intend to go back again. I don't know why anyone else had issues, but I can honestly say I had a good experience and would recommend

Had a great experience here. I have only good things to say about it! The ladies here are lovely and conversational. It's a very warm and welcoming environment and I love how they offered coffee during my appt. prices are more than fair and great for the job they do. I got my hair colour stripped back to my usual or natural colour and they did a great job and my hair feels great.also I like how every tenth visit you get ten percent off a hair treatment!

I went to this salon because there was an ad on groupon for a great deal! The deal was $59 for a haircut with style, deep scalp treatment with massage, and full color. As soon as I got there the owner of the store was being very rude to me, didn't even greet me. Her first impression was terrible and everything else went terribly from that moment on. I told her I know there may be a $10 charge for hair below the shoulders and she said that applies to the haircut. It will be much more for colour. So I asked her how much more and she told me $100. I bought a groupon for this place - having read good reviews I was expecting a good haircut.
I walked in and was greeted by this woman on her iphone clearly preoccupied by something... I waited a bit and then said hi I have an appointment at 3. She said go take a seat. (very rudely without even making eye contact or anything).

I waited about 15 minutes until she said come here... So I followed her to the sink where she gave me a wash and then brought me back to the chairs where she failed to give me a smock thing so my clothing got soaked...

Yesterday I biked by this place near College/Ossington and saw there glowing neon sign mentioning suntanning... I was thinking... Yeah Vitamin D!!! The sign was calling me!!! So Today when I was going out that way on my bike, I stopped in with my eye wear and entered the shop. There were some ladies doing hair, and some getting their hair done as well. The place is extremely clean, like Eat off the floor. Stephanie, a young woman there welcomed me, talked to me in detail about the tanning bed and tanning packages. No pressure, A very nice woman. I paid for my tanning, went into the stand up bed
