With our online Power Strata Portal, we always address your problems and concerns in a timely manner. Think of a captain and his ship. Brian has been in rental management for over 10 years and strata management for over 9. He decided to go into rental management so he could supplement his real estate career - having a hand in both meant he could work with both owners and tenants alike. Brenda began her career as a Rental Manager in 1990 after someone told her she'd be great at it.
Feels like everything in your strata or rental is too much on top of everything else you're dealing with? One thing that drives you crazy is poor communication. You want your concerns addressed as soon as possible - but how can they be when your manager doesn't respond to your calls or emails? All of our managers go through extensive, professional conflict resolution training.
We don't actively look for rentals for you, but we do have a Rental page that is updated daily with our current list of available properties. You can also stop by our office to get a physical copy of our rental list, which is updated and printed every Thursday. First, get registered on our website here.
So you're in a strata council and feel lost at sea. It's understandable - so much goes into strata management, it's hard to pinpoint where to begin! Attendants by proxy - an owner assigns someone to vote on their behalf when they can't attend the election. Anyone can be an attendant, except a property manager.
Everyone in the strata (including the homeowners) aren't open with each other. Emails are lost in cyberspace, and you and the rest of the council don't know what the main issues are is the elevator broken? Does the underground parking door freeze? Check your emails regularly - Set a time each day to check emails (everyone on the council should do this).

Replies to inquiries are needlessly confrontational if you ever get one, promised rental incentives are never given, and they are all around unprofessional, unpleasant, and really quite boorish.

Terrible customer service and would never recommend dealing with!! The lack of communication is completely unprofessional if any communication at all. If you're lucky to receive a call back they are completely rude and hostile. Dealing with a property management company, you would assume things are being taken care of properly but that is not the case as (we) tenants are left fending for ourselves to resolve housing repairs and the lack of safety and security within apartment buildings. Clearly, this company does not care for their customers and show little to no respect!

Was apart of a council and we where getting great service unitl the manager we had retired. Since then the service has gone down, the price has gone up, the responses are delayed and confintational, request from owners and council have been ignored. They do not have a we care about our customers mentality as they once had.

Our townhouse strata will soon be seeking service from another property management company, after months of extremely poor service and unreturned phone calls. It's now June 2021, and we have not yet had an AGM, because the manager fails to return phone calls or to act on our requests. It's time to contact the Real Estate Council of BC and the Better Business Bureau -- and/or stop paying strata fees.

My brother, his wife and their 5 children are returning to BC after 12 years in the Canadian Armed Forces. For some reason this business will not consider them for any home because she cannot "physically" see him.
HOWEVER, he does have ALL of his family here to view places + zoom was invented for this very reason. WERE in a FREAKING GLOBAL PANDEMIC, all businesses have to adjust!
EVERYONE deserves a home, what the hell does where you live now have to do with it!

Basically an illegal housing MOB! Awful people. Have never had a good experience with Strata or Home Owners Associations but this one has got to take the cake. Idk how they are still allowed to operate let alone haven't be fined or charged with all the awful things I see and hear about other people experience with this awful collection of people.

Our property manager and her assistant seem to be nice, pleasant and professional. However, not a fan of the front desk staff. None of them seem to be wearing masks and are not following physical distance protocols, also front desk staff seem to be a little condescending.

Had a property manager assigned to renting out my house for two months in Chilliwack. Was told that it was being showed consistently but no offers. The contractor that was performing small renovations who had the only key said nobody had ever been by. Also the home was to be listed on the company web site as well as all social media feeds which it was not. I then fired the property manager and took 2 pictures and listed it on CL and had 24 potential renters apply within 8 hours. Honesty and integrity are values that are not adhered to with this firm. BE WARNED.
