Our bedrooms are configured for individuals and couple and regrettably do not lend themselves as family rooms. They are all truly distinctive, they all have private ensuites and all are furnished with antiques, however, no room is the same. The history of The Crossing at Ghost River first began with the region's Aboriginal people who used a low point in the river as a "crossing". In later years this crossing connected and aided early explorers, traders, and settlers in many of the same ways. The land, as a whole, has always provided opportunities to connect its visitors with its countless treasures and natural beauty.
Q - If we have guests arriving at the airport is there a shuttle service or bus service to your site? A - At this time we do not have a shuttle/bus service to the facility but can put you in contact with a number of service providers who can help accommodate you. A - We do have the ability to accommodate multiple groups for both meeting/conferencing as well as meals.

Great hotel and retreat. Food is fantastic, it would be a no brainer for anyone to check out for events or visit. I dare say the rooms are perfectly sized, no bad choices for rooms in terms of balancing needs and options for someone staying in.
There is a few things to buy and check out. Also having access to the river in a very picturesque way.

We had our wedding at The Crossing July 9, 2021 and the consulting, planning, food, hospitality and service was absolutely exceptional! We had 50 guests with all guests staying overnight. Carol was amazing to work with, making sure all details were taken care of in the planning and day of coordination. We had lots of guests with gluten/dairy allergies and the food was absolutely incredible, guests are still talking about it. We were blown away with our wedding day experience there and HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue! Thank you to all staff at The Crossing for going above and beyond, we are so thankful

The Crossing at Ghost River made for a perfect weekend getaway, with only a short drive from the city. Highlight of the weekend was the food - 5 star meals that the whole family raved about. They went above and beyond to accommodate for Celiac (gluten free), which was such a treat. Our room was clean, and the staff went out of their way to make sure our weekend was relaxing and hassle free. Great firepit (a short walk) down by the river. Common spaces located around the resort to share some laughs, play games, or read a book. Highly recommend.

Had my wedding/elopement here over the weekend and it was such a wonderful experience! The staff were so helpful, accommodating and kind, they even remembered my family members names when serving us dinner. It was a dream working with Carol and everyone. The food was spectacular, literally one of the best meals of my life was my wedding dinner, it was just so delicious and cooked perfectly. The scenery was gorgeous, the bedroom was adorable. We definitely plan to return for a wedding anniversary or something. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get eloped or married. Even during covid they

The Crossing at Ghost River is the perfect spot for a getaway. I have been here for meetings but our personal weekend away was just what we needed! It is peaceful to walk to the river, enjoy a campfire, or relax with a good book. It is so quiet and the rooms are very comfortable. The food is absolutely amazing, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our weekend away was perfect! It is also a short drive to the mountains if you want to go hiking. We would definitely recommend the Crossing at Ghost River.

My husband & I spent 2 fantastic days and nights at The Crossing. Who knew you would drive down into the river gorge, only 30 minutes from Cochrane, and arrive to this beautiful area (off of the Benchlands which is very flat)! The chefs prepared the most delightful, tasty breakfasts and dinners and a huge bag lunch. All the staff were so friendly, engaging and helpful. The rooms were clean & comfortable and other facility rooms as well as outdoor decks at the Inn were wonderful areas to sit for R & R. Lots of places to hike or walk especially along the Ghost River. The Crossing is a beautiful location, the scenery is spectacular, etc. etc. blah blah.... you can find that anywhere, really. The Crossing is different and special because of the people who work there. They regularly host retreats for veterans struggling with PTSD, they donate food and time to less privileged people in the local area.... go to the Crossing because the people who work there care about you and want you to be happy. There are not so many good people in the world that you can afford not have more in your life.

Spent the weekend here for my best friend's wedding. Absolutely stunning view, comfortable stay in the most charming accomodation. The best part by far was the quality of the food. I've eaten at many 5 star restaurants and the food at Crossing Experience was most definitely 5 stars! The staff were all helpful and pleasant and everyone made me feel safe with covid measures in place. I highly recommend booking a wedding or group retreat at this establishment.

I hosted a team retreat day at this incredible venue. Not only is it a beautiful spot, but they provided us with everything we needed to make this day a success. We felt like we were the only ones there and we quickly settled in to the special energy this spot provides. To top it off, the food was out of this world. They went above and beyond to to accommodate dietary needs and it was absolutely delicious. We cannot thank you enough and we will be back!

I facilitate a number of client offsite/retreats each year and whenever possible I try to use The Crossing - geography, client requirements and location sometimes play a factor but when I have creative control of a location, I really value The Crossing.

We recently hosted a corporate retreat at the Crossing and from start to finish it was exceptional! As the venue only has 27 sleeping rooms we were able to fully book the space and it was a very cool experience to be the only guests on site. The staff was very accommodating and worked with us on all of our event needs. The food was exceptional and the chef did an excellent job of accommodating our guests with special dietary needs. Our employees have raved about this event and said it was one of the best we have ever hosted - we would definitely return for a 2nd event!

Unbelievable resort. Everything is more then you could ever imagine. We went for a retreat with Only Women's Fitness and I can't wait to come back this summer for another one. You can't beat the meals, the grounds, the accommodations. I would go all the time if I could. Check this place out the next time you are needing a retreat, family gathering or a wedding.

A nice getaway from Calgary for a team. Our group of 15 enjoyed the bright meeting space and staff were very helpful. The food provided for snacks and the group lunch were outstanding. Thank you! Carol who handled our various bookings(and changes) was very gracious and helpful. I'd highly recommend this facility (but know that you pay for this quality service).

Beautiful landscape, aqua blue river, delectably delicious food , lovely rooms with a view, and the staff are so congenial, friendly, and helpful that everything was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend for your events/retreats/gatherings. I wanted to go home and pack up my husband and dogs and move in permanently!

An amazing experience, staff do anything to make your stay amazing. Catered for more than 50 people in our group with many dietary needs without hesitation. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience. The food was like five star dining, every meal over the last ten days. Cannot speak highly enough.
