The Findlay Creek Eye Clinic inside the Laurier Optical provide complete eye exams in Ottawa South. Our Ottawa South Clinic has an Ottawa Optometrist, Dr Zahiri, that can provide complete eye care, contact lenses, and Ottawa optical services. We are your optical Ottawa source for all optometrist related services.

Dr. Sara Zahiri graduated from the University of Waterloo Optometry program in 2010. Previous to her studies in optometry, she obtained her Bachelor's degree from the University Of Ottawa in Biology and also conducted research at the Ottawa Eye Institute on adult stem cells and their role in vision.

I recently visited Laurier Optical - Findlay Creek Ottawa location and let’s just say I am disgusted. I am a 28 year old Black Muslim Woman so I am pretty used to different systems of oppression. However, one of the staff (women in a black sweater) at this location has taken it to a whole different level using Covid measures to limit my access to… essential resources. We walked in this morning in hopes of finding a frame and purchasing lenses. I was told by staff that they could only allow four people in the store which I understood and she mentioned it was okay for now (because there

I went over the reviews before booking my appointment. Glad to say that they are awesome, very friendly, extremely professional and super knowledgeable. Not sure why they would ever receive a one star rating. Revisited those one star rates. Uzma and Hazel, in particular, have never given anyone a positive review. Maybe is a them issue, not a retailer issue as one of them even seemed to be over the top spiteful and personal. Judge not lest ye be judged. Remember, how you approach people is how you will then be treated. The others seem to be one-offs. I will definitely keep going back!!! 5 STARS

Wonderful service.
They really saved me. I had lost my glasses at the beginning of the weekend and could not get an appointment anywhere. They came to my rescue, by updating my prescription and getting me some new (restoring my vision!), all in a couple of days. The pricing was fair and reasonable. The service was exceptional.
I strongly recommend this location.

I am so disappointed. My husband lost his glasses and we were fortunate enough to get an appointment for today at 330 pm. We live 40 minutes from them and have a newborn. We had to arrange the day around the appointment and my husband drove all the way there to see a sign on the door saying there was a power outage. I have never known a business to not phone and let clients know they are cancelling appointments for the day. To make someone drive out after sending a reminder text for the appointment and then to be closed is such poor business. When you miss an appointment as a client you are still

II have been going to 4750 Bank Street, Findlay Creek Eye Clinic for my glasses. I highly recommend this company. Cerinia helped me pick the perfect pair of coach frames. She is truly knowledgeable, professional, caring, and friendly. Cerinia has gone out of her way to make sure that I am satisfied with my glasses & prescription. I received my glasses within 1 week of purchase, now that’s great service. The entire group of staff are very honest, helpful, and friendly.

My appointment was January 19, 2021, when I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome.
I was given a form to fill out then introduced to the Optometrist, she too was amazing, everything was explained and NEVER rushed me.
I felt then I was having a great eye exam.
I got a call 4 days later to pickup my glasses, there was two sets, one was for reading the other for distance, the product and satisfaction was 100%.
Folks, if you need eye care, do yourself a favour and call Findlay Creek Eye Care Clinic 4750 Bank Street.

The people are friendly here and the services are conducted professionally. My main concern with this location is the conscious practice on behalf of the optometrist to recommend services or prescription renewals that aren't necessary.
For example, a few weeks ago my wife came home with receipts for retinal imaging for both of my children. This is not covered by OHIP and so we had to pay $20 each. My research has shown that this procedure should only be recommended in certain cases and certainly isn't necessary for every child to have done. Neither of my children have diabetes or have been diagnosed

I'm so happy my vision is in the care of these wonderful women!
Last year, in a panic, I came in with crazy vision problems, lack of color etc. They fit me in last minute for a medical exam and thankfully the doctor wanted more answers -- referred me to the general hospital staff. To my dismay, I was found to have optic neuritis. which led to an… MRI, which led to my MS diagnosis.
Fast forward to 1 year later...Almost to the day!
The upmost compassion and consideration, this team was saddened to hear what transpired (its hard to follow up after the referral is done) but was glad to see me

I really love their service. They are very professional. Dr. Sara Zahiri was very helpful when she was helping me pick out my perfect pair of glasses. I was dreading going shopping for new glasses, finding the perfect pair can be so daunting! Well am I ever glad I went here! The doctor was very friendly and took the time to answer my questions and was extremely knowledgeable. When it came time to choose frames - Serena is the BEST! She has a fool proof system that helped me find the most… flattering pairs within my budget. She went above and beyond and made my shopping experience 5 star. I actually had fun! After a few years or knowing I needed glasses i finally made the decision to book an appointment at Laurier Optical in Findlay Creek and I am so thankful I did.Dr Zahiri was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain my eye issues and the different types of lenses that can help correct it. The staff were patient and helpful in helping me choose the correct frames to fit my face. I would highly recommend this location and will be going back in the future.
