Our daughter wanted to play piano and we waited until she was 4 hoping she would take to it. Kera, the proprietor of Stacatto, contacted me (I had asked for recommendations on our local parenting group) and we went in for a free first lesson to see how our daughter would like it. She looooooved it. We have been attending weekly lessons for over a month now and she really looks forward to it. We bought a piano, an investment, which I truly hope pans out;) but so far our daughter practices every day, a few times a day. Staccato has played a role of building strength and confidence in our children at home, school and into the community. Both our children take piano and voice lessons at the studio for over 7 years. Our children practice with enthusiasm and I see the love they have for music through their playing. We will continue to be a part of this school for many more years. The teachers at Staccato are energetic, passionate about teaching and learning, and really care about the kids. The teachers listen to the kids and really tailor the experience to make it enjoyable AND educational for students of all ages. I have been attending the Music Together program with my daughter since she was 6 weeks old and can't rave about the program enough! Our experience has been nothing by exceptional. Music Together classes at Staccato Studios have nurtured the love of music with my two kids. My son started with Music Together and is now in piano. He loves singing, playing instruments, is curious about music and explores music independently. My daughter is still in Music Together now and I credit the program with bringing out her speech/communication skills (she is delayed in this area). Music has been a key part of her development and a bridge to helping her communicate with the world. My daughters have been with Staccato Studios for 13 years. The teachers are passionate about what they do and it is reflected in the enthusiasm that my children have to continue their music education. They are given opportunities and are encouraged to perform at recitals, music festivals and in the community. The teachers are encouraging and it gives my children the confidence to keep going to the next level. Staccato Studios is a great place to bring your baby or toddler for music related classes.

They offer "Music Together", which are classes that parents can participate together as a family. It's basically a music based movement program that allows active participation in singing, rhythm chants, instruments and dancing. There's set classes and times available each quarter, but if you're not entire sure, they offer a free first class for you to try.

Email communication was easy and the instructors are wonderful. They also offer private piano, drums and guitar lessons

Our daughters have been attending music lessons at Staccato Studios since 2009. We have always been so pleased with the instructors, the times and the great shows. The kids love how they incorporate modern music into all they do, which really keeps them interested and excited to get back. It has a real community feel. We've always been very happy there and feel we get great value for our money.

After a few years of traditional piano training with another piano school, I noticed my son had lost interest in playing. He just did not find it fun anymore. We been with Staccato Studios since 2000. The owners and teachers are very caring and passionate in what they do. I have two children, a boy and a girl. Although they are from the same parents, their personality and learning abilities are different. The teachers teach according to their needs and adjust their teaching accordingly while making it fun to learn. My son had a great time learning how to play piano and being part of their band, while my daughter had a fun time with her voice teacher and piano teacher. I highly recommend Staccato Studios to anyone who wants to have fun while learning

My children have been attending Music classes at Staccato Studio’s in North Burnaby for almost 11 years! I started my eldest son at 5 months old in the Music Together classes. The teachers are upbeat and fun and the learning environment is fantastic. The most important thing for me is that they know how to work with children. They understand there personalities and lessons are made to engage that specific student! I have only positive things to say and can confidently refer friends and family to the studio.

My 11-year-old son has been taking music at Staccato since he was 3 months old. He has had the opportunity to take music exams, learn all types of music and perform at concerts. He has a love of music that has been encouraged by his instructors and everyone at Staccato.
