Harmonious Music Studio is located in the heart on the Dunbar Village in Vancouver Westside. We provide private and group piano lessons for young children. For beginner students, we offer the Music for Young Children (MYC) program. It is a parent-participation program in a small group setting (3-6 students in a class).
We meet once a week for an hour and we do a variety of musical activities - keyboard, creative movement, rhythm, ear -training, sight reading, music theory and composition. Students who study the Music for Young Children program will not only develop their piano skills, the variety of music activities will also help children practice important skills, including thinking, language, motor coordination and understanding emotions.

Services
Music for Young Children (MYC) is a 33 year old Canadian program that provides the best quality music education to young children by blending the pleasure and the joy of music making with sound instruction. In public and private studios all over the world we offer group music lessons to 2 - 10 years old.
Melisa Chui has her Level 10 Piano Certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and hold the Royal Conservatory of Music Certification as an Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced Specialist. Melisa has been teaching piano for over 10 years and absolutely loves working with young students because of her background in Early Childhood Education.
Missed classes: If possible, notify your teacher if you will miss a class by calling (604)767-0136 or email melisamyc@gmail.com. To have the homework emailed to you email your teacher as soon as you can. Withdrawal from classes: As it is not possible to replace students who leave the program mid-year, if you need to withdraw it is studio policy to withhold two cheques in addition to the month in which you leave.
