We will oil your fretboard and give a free inspection and tune up when you change your strings with us. Well, from the way the calendar is constructed, there can either be 4 sessions or 5 sessions in a month. Just pay for your classes, we have NO registration / administration fees like other schools! The 1st month is for your first month of classes and the 2nd month is for your last month of classes with Play Music.

Play music Inc was the place where I started to first learn guitar and from the few years I was there all I can remember are the fond memories of the place and the people who worked there. The employees there are so kind and nice that it's like they have known you for your whole life. The products you get buy there are also ever expanding making it a great place to get any musical item you may want. Tho I may have not been there for some time as of today when I went back it was still all smiling faces.

If I could give Play Music 6 stars, I would. As the other reviews mention, it's the people that make the place. Not only are they knowledgeable and helpful, but they're also incredibly friendly and down to earth! The store itself, though small, is well stocked, and while I've never taken lessons at Play Music, I have no doubt it would be as amazing an experience as every other time I've set foot in this gem of a music store! I highly recommend Play Music Inc, either buying, taking a lesson or even just dropping by to get music advice from them. You won't be disappointed. We bought a ukelele from the shop in January and I had a class with them for a few months. Like Andrew, the owner of the shop, said, "You will be able to play a song from the first lesson." I ended up taking more lessons because I just enjoyed going there and the lessons. People there are so nice just like friends and family. Again, I highly recommended this place.

Recently took my acoustic to get a set-up and Chino did an amazing job! They quoted me 2-3 days, got a call 4 hours later that it was finished! Plays and sounds amazing, they really treat it as if it was their own guitar. At $60 for a set-up and the quick turn around, I'll be bringing all my guitars here from now on and suggesting this place to all my friends! Great friendly staff as well! I came in to Play Music Inc to look for a capo, ended up chatting with the staff for a bit and had a great experience. They are all clearly passionate about music and on top of that, very friendly. I asked if they had a guitar phone mount in stock and at the time they didn't, but took my name and number down in case they found one. A few weeks later I get a call that they found one and ordered one for me. Not every business will do this for their customers, so I was very touched by their service and dedication. Great store, great staff!

The owners are really, really lovely people! It's a small shop but has a really nice selection at very reasonable prices. We picked up several things and will definitely be back.
They also have a surprise stock of super random enamel pins to spice up your gig bag or anything. As a sucker for enamel pins, I was very pleasantly surprised and may have picked up several. ;)

Amazing experience! I went in today to get my first-ever guitar but I'm really happy that I did so at Play Music Inc. Being complete beginner, I was feeling slightly intimidated going into any kind of music shop, but nothing like that at this shop. The staff were very friendly, had such an inviting atmosphere and you could feel their sincerity. I Left the store happy and very excited to start playing the new guitar I have with me now. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and for anyone who is thinking about starting guitar like me.

Great place with super helpful staff. Last weekend I wanted to get new guitar strings and they kindly offered to change for me all 6 strings with no charge. The fellow who did the adjustments/change made the guitar look better than it was before. It was a nice and quaint shop, lessons going on and the kids were obviously enjoying themselves. The owners were giving away red packets (I believe there were candies inside) as it was the lunar new year. Will definitely be back to purchase more stuff, and service totally stands out.

Horrible place. Would not recommend. The ONLY good thing is that the prices are cheap. Sent my daughter here and had a nice teacher. The next class she was gone and moved to a different teacher who she did not like was not comfortable. I talked to one of the parents and her two boys go there and she said there was a fight that happened between the teacher we had and the owner. She said there was yelling and pushing. The owners seem welcoming and kind but I can tell they are crazy. I waited while my daughter would finish class in the seating area. The lady I believe who owns it, an Asian lady is

My daughter does piano lessons here and she loves it. Its a nice small shop on Kingsway run by a Husband and Wife couple. They are so great with the kids and have really given my daughter an awesome introduction to music. The prices are great and they are always happy to work around my financial constraints. I look forward to many more years of working with them!
