Services
I provide counselling services for individuals with developmental delays in the community as well as involved with law. These individuals may have intellectual delays or/and learning disability too. People with developmental delay and learning difficulties can acquire new skills. However, the acquisition of skills is at a different rate requiring appropriately designed teaching strategies.
I provide psychotherapy for individuals involved with law. Court-ordered therapy is meant to be a catalyst for change for individuals involved in the legal system. However, this process is often confusing and overwhelming. A sincere effort is made to engage clients in a respectful and non-judgemental manner.
Clients may self-refer at any time. There is no waiting period for my services. Clients who require services in crisis or enter service immediately, they may get an appointment as early as possible, depending on my availability. I offer a sliding scale for my clients (forensic as well as non-forensic clients) that require a reduced rate for specific reasons.
