Dr. McGuire, in practice at Lougheed Dental Clinic since 1999, holds a BSc from St. Francis Xavier University, a Diploma in Education from McGill University, and received her DMD at the University of British Columbia in 1999. Dr. McGuire is committed to high standards of dental care, and works to ensure a positive experience for all existing and new clinic patients.

I had tooth pain, they got me in right away. The way they take pictures and show you what needs to be done is truly amazing! My hygienist dajana, was very gentle a kind. The front desk Steph was very warm and welcoming. Dr golpira was very knowledgeable and friendly! Would recommend to my family and friends. They also bill according to the dental association, so your not getting over charged. Love this place!

I have always had trouble with my bottom dentures hurting. I went to Dr. Erin McGuire and had them re-lined and the minute I put them in they fitted like a glove, not a hurt anywhere, first time. They felt like you had your real teeth in. If you have trouble with your bottom dentures, see Erin.

I have good experience with everybody from this dental clinic. Dr. Erin McGuire explains clearly what the situation is and what it is possible to be done. She works so well. She has plenty of patience, and I really appreciate that. Dr. Lawrence Mak performed complicated extractions and surgeries on me. I did not feel any pain neither during the procedure, nor after. That did not happen before, and I have plenty of experience with dentists. I also appreciate the dental assistants and the receptionists. They work together as a team. I really feel good, safe and confident to go in this dental center

I have nothing but good things to say about the Lougheed Dental Clinic. I am a patient of Dr Mak and couldn't be happier with the care and quality of work he and his assistant Melanie provide. I had a difficult issue that was treated with confidence, care and professionalism. They took the time to explain the process and addressed any concerns I had. The receptionists are welcoming, efficient, friendly and always check my insurance coverage before proceeding. My hygenist is wonderful too. He is focussed and my teeth feel actually clean. I have only words of praise for Dr. Erin McGuire and her team. Everything was a positive experience, starting with the reception. Dr. McGuire performed several dental works for me and each time I have been extremely satisfied with the process and with the result. What she has done for me is just perfect. Her assistant Michaela is very helpful. Dr. McGuire explains everything very well, in plain language and using a scale model and is a really caring and considerate person.

I have been scared of the dentist my whole life. And as a young adult without any coverage it makes it even harder to want to go. However the staff at Lougheed dental always makes sure I am comfortable with everything before starting. Even though I hate having to go to the dentist, I’m so thankful that this is the one I go to.
