Rainbow Academy is a child care centre that provides a great mix of fun, play and education to toddlers and young children in Bolton, Ontario. What makes Rainbow Academy truly special is the instructors at the centre. Not only are the owners of Rainbow Academy certified Early Childhood Educators, but the staff there participate in regular professional development sessions along with other educators and teachers in Peel Region.
Our unique full-day program offers a caring and stimulating environment designed to meet the individual needs of each child. Personalized schedules, feeding times and daily charting help each child to develop at their own pace. Time is spent both indoors and outside, and children are encouraged to explore their world in a safe and loving environment.
Our toddler program provides activities and materials that help children become more independent, build up their ideas of self-worth, and involve themselves in the interaction and the communication of small groups.
Tricky and significant activities surrounding Drama and Art such as dressing, cooking and laying the table or working with different types of brushes, paper and glue, playing with items in the water/sand table and open-ended questions open the opportunities for children to learn the world around them and develop their fine motor and cognitive skills.

The goal of the preschool program is to encourage children to expand their thinking and problem-solving skills, to make them happy and engage them in intellectual activities such as learning the perception of the colors, shapes, upper and lower case letters from the alphabet and numbers, learning to tell time, learning a few beginning sounds of the words and writing some letters, simple science activities and so much more.
Language development includes reading and writing as the basic form of learning, as well as, music, circle time, puppet shows, stories and poetry. Our Children learn the alphabet by learning the sounds and symbols of each letter. Reading is being taught in a form of phonogram booklets, phonetic cards and puzzle words.

Rainbow Academy is a safe, warm and inviting atmosphere for children of all ages. The staff are professional, kind and extremely trustworthy. Rainbow Academy is both child and parent friendly and the staff have had an excellent training in taking care of children and teaching. The loving concern the staff have for the small children continues throughout their time. The programs in preschool and summer camps help children to transit to school kindergarten easily and smoothly. My daughter was extremely well prepared for J.K as a result of her experience in preschool and Summer Camps at Rainbow Academy

As a single mother, nothing is important than someone can take of my daughter during this pandemic so that I'm able to keep my job. I really want to thank rainbow academy from the bottom of my heart, because the staff are very patient and reliable, especially Laura and Natalie, they always send update information to parents and communicate positively. My daughter was enrolled in another daycare center, I didn't know how was my daughter as parents are not allowed to enter the center. the only thing I can do is connecting them through emails and phone calls, but their communication has been horrific

I would like to thank all staff for providing excellent care for my son. He has truly enjoyed his experience in Rainbow Academy and has learned a lot since he began. I would like to especially thank his teachers, for being so loving and supportive with him particularly when he first began. Your kindness and dedication was truly made known in how much my son has enjoyed going to “school”, I hope that in the future, I will have my next child start with Rainbow as soon as I can.

My son was in care at another daycare center, it was horrible experience for him and our family. Last year we enrolled him at Rainbow Academy, since then he has been so happy everyday. He always come home telling us of each day's activities with such excitement. Teachers are so nice and kind, they are positive and honest, my son love them all.

My wife discovered Rainbow Academy when we just moved in Bolton in 2015. Our son was preschooler and he loved it there, loved many fun activities and frequent field trips. Every day he says, had played in Fun-quest Rainbow Academy's indoor play place similar to those in McDonalds. In spring time our daughter started her every day fun in this beautiful place. A couple months ago a good change happened there, more enthusiastic person took over Rainbow Academy. Our daughter likes it there even more and she is happy to spend time there. We have her full time there and every day she comes home with

Rainbow academy likes my family. it is the first place where I can have fun and gain knowledge. When I was 2 years old my parents dropped me there, I remember Tracy is nice lady. I grew with rainbow till 11 years old. later my brother was there for 2 years, and now my little sister started few months ago, it's awesome, especially they changed new owner and supervisor. mom said with new management, rainbow academy is fresh, they care about parents' feedback and try to find better solutions for children and parents. I hope my little baby sister enjoys this environment.

When I was younger all my friends went to this daycare and I, honestly, wish I had gone. It used to be an awful daycare, but new owners bought the place out and after that it was nothing less than amazing. The only reason I didn't go is because there was no space for me and I was on the waiting list for what felt like forever. From what my friends would tell me everyday at school and as an older cousin now to children who go there I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
