Each day at St. Gabriel includes a fresh, nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. We provide a balance of fruits, vegetables and whole grains. At St. Gabriel Child Care Centers, we have a range of programs to suit all of your child's needs.
The nursery school program operates for children 2.5 to 4 years of age from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Attendance schedules include 2, 3, and 5 days a week. This program follows the school calendar and is not available on school holidays or PA days. We offer a stimulating full day program for toddlers 18 to 30 months focusing on both physical and mental growth.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to each of you. St. Gabriel Child Care, a non-profit centre first opened its' doors in 1989. Over a generation of children have come through our doors, developing into academically-prepared, confident, kind, enthusiastic leaders of tomorrow.
We expanded our services by adding a Before and After School program for students 4 years of age to 12 years of age at St. Gregory the Great in 1997, at St. Clement Catholic Elementary in 2012, and St. Margaret Mary in 2013.As licensed facilities under the Ministry of Education, we have the capacity to provide care to 389 children.

Our nurturing teachers are qualified staff that are Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE). Each room also has a early childhood assistant who though not an RECE are taking courses towards their certification in early childhood, or teachers certificate. Their knowledge experience and dedication provide a well rounded program in which our children thrive.
Our Board of Directors consists of dedicated parents and community members who volunteer their time and expertise for the betterment of St. Gabriel Child Care Centres. The Board's mandate is to make sound business decisions for the whole organization while governing the corporation (namely St. Gabriel Child Care Centres).
Yes, We are a non profit integrated child care centre that has been in operation since 1989. No, We will make accommodations to the menu for children with allergies, however we do not accept outside food. All food served must be prepared in a public health inspected kitchen. This policy is also in place to protect children with allergies.
