I call the number provided because I needed help with installation of a dryer (like putting the vent in for the dryer, hooking the dryer up and the water hose). Someone picked up right away and I told him my situation and he was upfront with me about the cost of just someone coming out and the hourly rate. He told me it was quite an easy task and basically just guided me and gave me tips on the phone on how to do it. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

Peter responded to my request for a freezer repair very quickly but before scheduling a service call, he suggested I try to fix the issue on my own and gave me detailed instructions over the phone. We've relied on Peter for 8 years now for honest advice and quality work. He has fixed our washer & freezer and advised us to replace our microwave when it failed rather than doing a service call to tell us the same, which I appreciated. However, the reason for this positive review is because of the way he handled a failed dryer. Unfortunately it failed as he went on vacation, but I was willing to wait for him to return & told him so. I contacted Peter regarding a new Bosch Dishwasher installation and scheduled him for the job for a week later. He arrived promptly and informed me all his equipment was sanitized. He was very knowledgeable about the new Bosch dishwasher and the components required for the installation which he provided. Installation took under one hour. It's been a month and has been working great so far. I would recommend Peter for new dishwasher installations.

I've had the services of Modern Appliance twice in the past. The first time was several years ago when my freezer was having issues and more recently just last weekend when my gas oven wasn't fully heating up.
Both times my wife was able to explain my problems in detail over the phone and both times after coming out to our home Peter was able to help us both times. Basically all Peter needed was information such as the make and model of our appliances.
