Therapy may include different treatment modalities (e.g., CBT, interpersonal, hypnotherapy) that guide the client toward discovering the root causes of their anger and their triggers, as well as teaching tools and management techniques to control anger.Therapy can also be helpful in teaching clients conflict-resolution skills and healthy emotional expression.

Anxiety is the body's natural response to danger and helps us prepare to deal with threatening situations. However, anxiety can sometimes become heightened and develop into an irrational response to a situation, causing significant impairment in day-to-day functioning. The therapists' role is to help in diagnosis through a comprehensive review of symptoms, triggers, relevant history, and familial factors.
