While anger is a normal and healthy emotion, frequent explosive anger is not. Chronic anger is a serious psychological problem that can interfere with many aspects of one's life, including personal relationships, business/career aspirations, and physical health.

Therapy may include different treatment modalities (e.g., CBT, interpersonal, hypnotherapy) that guide the client toward discovering the root causes of their anger and their triggers, as well as teaching tools and management techniques to control anger.Therapy can also be helpful in teaching clients conflict-resolution skills and healthy emotional expression.
Anxiety is the body's natural response to danger and helps us prepare to deal with threatening situations. However, anxiety can sometimes become heightened and develop into an irrational response to a situation, causing significant impairment in day-to-day functioning. The therapists' role is to help in diagnosis through a comprehensive review of symptoms, triggers, relevant history, and familial factors.
There are several different types of mood disorders. Depression is the most common one, and often described as persistent low mood that is debilitating and can last several weeks. Depression can affect all aspects of one's life-how one feels, acts and behaves. If depression is the primary concern, your therapist will review your concerns and symptoms and provide a treatment plan.
Life transition is a broad category that describes an array of challenging life events, such as divorce, retirement, mid-life crises, new baby, aging parents, etc. Life transitions are a natural part of the lifecycle, and often opportunities for personal growth. However, there is often stress, confusion, anxiety, and/or depression that may be associated with these changes.
