Fall indoor was the first time I signed my son up with BSC. He has never disliked playing an organized sport until his experience here. Customer service is also awful. When Halton decided to override provincial mandates for children under 18, I asked for a partial refund. I emailed the club and have yet to hear back.

I enrolled my toddler in soccer, the vaccine passport mandate came into play after I paid, and I asked for a refund over one month ago. It’s now been 5 weeks to issue my refund and I am still waiting. Phone is never answered. I’m not sure who works there, as I never ever have had a person answer the phone. Been calling for weeks. Horrible.
Update: Funny how burlington soccer club can reply to a bad google review (in less then an hour)so promptly. But not communicate about the money I should be returned in the first place. Horrible. Good to know my money will be returned. Eventually. Thank

Easily the worst run sports organization I've had the misfortune of playing for.
Commissioners are clueless and genuinely seem to be only in it for the money. If you ever wonder why soccer in Canada is growing so slowly, places like this are where you should look first.

My daughter typically plays elsewhere but in these Covid times, we quickly jumped at the opportunity to have her play in a mini league and skills session. I found both women (Angela and Taylor) and men (Gordon and Jordan) in charge of the sessions had nothing but the best intention for the well being of the players. They accommodated each request and if they did not, gave quick reasoning as to why not. Overall, I’m glad that the city of Burlington has people like them working towards youth development and engagement.

I don't enjoy writing negative reviews at all, and I rarely do, but in this case I believe it is important for parents to be aware of this clubs 'no refund' policy before considering them, particularly if your child is an introvert or simply wishing to try something new without any commitment.
We knew about the no refund policy beforehand but wanted to go ahead and give our son the opportunity to try out the club anyway but sadly he was overwhelmed after 10 minutes and didn't wish to continue. There was no personal interaction with him, no acknowledgment of him given this was his first time there

The summer soccer league was cancelled in June due to Covid and despite receiving a written notice that refunds would be processed by the end of June, we are still waiting in September for that refund cheque.

I agree with alot of the negative posts. Absolutely no respect for parents, they lost my refund request. I'm not sure where the club adopted there soccer skills or the game. No throw ins, offsides. I was learning throw ins at age 6 under Mississauga Soccer Club back in the 80's. Not a good experience.

What a great organization for kids soccer. My son has enjoyed playing in their indoor Fall and Winter dome leagues, along with the outdoor summer leagues. They use age appropriate fields, qualified refs, competitive leagues and we'll sin organization. We tried Burlington sports centre leagues once and they were absolutely horrible. BYSC is the way to go for sure

No refund policy after the season starts which isnt fair.... how are you supposed to know if you'll like it? They took awhile to get back and didn't show much tact/customer service skills. Could have at least said "sorry for the delay...and sorry we don't have a refund policy."

Burlington Soccer Youth Club is a fine organization in our city. My son has reffed house league for about 5 years and the training and support are excellent. Jack Hughes and the other Refs that work with Jack have taught my son a lot about what it is to be a serious referee and a gentleman at the same time. Gabe also played in house league for about 7 years with BYSC and loved it! The coaches and assistant coaches kept the game fun for the players.
