Very Very poor customer service. Some of the staff is great always agrees to give water cups and tissues but both ladies never agree and are so rude even when it comes to explaining the payments. They never clean the rooms and the toilet doesn't work we had to call and ask 3 times.

Lovely staff, impeccably clean rooms, convenient location, super-comfy beds, fresh (free) coffee available throughout the day, gym and swimming pool, really good value for money- what else could you ask for?

Stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days Oct 20-22, 2021 room 226 maid service didn't clean the room at all. When the front desk was called and asked about maid service a straightforward answer wasn't provided. The question was is maid service not daily? Reply, um, well that depends. That is the reply from this hotel. As a guest is the expectation that we clean the rooms ourselves? I don't recall a vacuum, towels, shampoos etc being in the room to assist with cleaning the room. The front desk wasn't overly friendly and portrayed that they didn't even care that maid service ever came. It was like it

There were a few problems during our stay: We started off in one room, and the shower wasn't sloped properly, causing water to drain onto the floor and soak the carpet. We didn't realize this was happening until the carpet outside the bathroom was soaked. We changed rooms, and the other bathroom had the same problem. This time we knew to soak it up with towels, so we made do. The sink in the second room didn't drain very well, the mattresses weren't very comfortable at all, and the pillows felt quite cheap. I thought that in covid times the rooms would be quite clean, but there were drip marks

It was decent. My room was clean. The bed was comfortable. There was lots of parking. The heat in my room worked really well. The in-room microwave and mini fridge were nice. The wifi was free and surprisingly fast! TV was okay - general cable channels. Bathtub was clean and bath water was hot. It was a bit noisy with chatter in the hall but I turned my heater to the “fan” setting and it drowned it out, so it was no problem.
The wait to check in was a bit long. They seemed short staffed, but I know it’s super hard to find staff right now! There were some problems with reservations for some

I'm giving this review due to the circumstances of staying at Inn of Waterloo for a hockey tournament. Was harassed a little by security starting about 11pm. The front desk rectified everything and was pleased they allowed us to continue our fun. Despite having little warm water in the shower in the morning I'm pleased with the hotel overall and would recommend for future stays especially for a kids away hockey tournament. An overall good experience.

This was a great find. The hotel is being updated. Our bathroom was stylish and modern though the decor in the room was somewhat dated. Convenient location: out of the way enough to be quiet and have ample parking, but no more than a 5 minute drive from food, etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. A very competitive price for what was offered.

We held a Celebration of Life for my wife this past weekend at The Inn of Waterloo. We held it in the Regent Room, a very unique space that sits on 2 levels and it worked perfectly. The venue, the staff, the food, the technical support on AV needs was incredible.
The formal part of the event went well over the timing we had estimated and the staff simply adjusted the start of food and bar service as things unfolded. We never felt rushed, just supported at every turn as things unfolded. It was an emotional and beautiful day made more special because of the venue and the efforts of their team.

Upon check-in, our room was not clean. Walls had stains on them and a solid layer of dust on every surface. The room had obviously not been stayed in for quite some time because as soon as we opened our guest room door, it was like a wall of air freshener hit us. The bathroom was old, which I wouldn’t have minded if it was clean, but the solid layer of rust around fixtures and mold in tiles and caulking was unacceptable.
Had we not been staying with a large block, we may have thought this was typical for the property, but no one else we asked in our group had this experience with their room

I really wanted to rate this higher because the staff were all so nice and helpful. This is an honest review.
First, as stated above, the staff were really accommodating. Melissa at the front desk gets special mention for the way she helped me secure the right room for me. The place is generally clean and well-maintained. Lots and lots and lots of parking spaces available...I guess covid-19 vacancy rate.
The beds were really comfortable and there were enough varieties to pillows that I could pick one that was just right. It's easy to just relax in the bed and fall asleep.
However, the place

When you drive to Kitchener to surprise your mom for her birthday and the hotel you've previously stayed at is no longer the same quality... ww stayed here around Christmas 2 years ago and it was great. Not anymore. Check out is 11am from what we were told. When we got here at 4:40pm, they still hadn't checked out the guests and the room wasn't… ready. They offer us another room that's identical. We think ok fine. Didn't care which room as long as we could sleep before we drive home tomorrow morning. Get to the room... Idk who the cleaner is but they should be fired! Dirt on beds and under

Had stuff stolen from my room. New management opted to not call back after leaving voicemail and getting in contact. Don’t book this place. Staff steals and management doesn’t do anything about it.

This hotel is old. But that's ok. Problem is, it's dirty. We were traveling with our 11week old puppy and they put us in a room that had remnants of carpet cleaner which our pup found. Outside the door in the hallway, there was the remains of chips or something which the vacuum cleaner missed but was so obvious, it shouldn't. And that wasn't the… only area that wasn't cleaned properly. Then when we returned to our room on the 2nd night after a long day, the pillows looked like they were just thrown on the bed in a rush. I complained to the manager and she did apologize and did have someone

Clean, nice beds, modern bathroom, nice complimentary breakfast. Only downside is it looks a little worn. They just need to clean that up and this would be 5*. A lot of the room doors have scuffs and dents. LOTS of free parking.
