Low back and pelvic pain does not have to be a "normal" part of being pregnant. During pregnancy and postpartum recovery, we can help you modify how you move and position your body to help ease or eliminate your pain. With a few simple exercises and changes to your daily routine we can get you enjoying your pregnancy.
Do you find that when you go to physiotherapy, that they don't understand the terminology or what you need to be able to do? Do you want to improve your mobility and strengthen to optimize your performance in dance? With over 25 years in the dance world, both as a dancer and a physiotherapist, I love helping dancers eliminate their pain, correct their technique, get stronger, and excel.
Telerehabilitation is physiotherapy performed over Zoom. That's right! Over a Zoom call we will conduct an interview to find out more about your injury and your history. I will do a postural assessment, movement analysis, check your mobility, and find out what hurts the most. You will be given an individualized treatment program that you can conduct from your home.
Recommended to book 40 minutes if you are wanting multiple types of treatment eg. Active Release Techniques, Acupuncture, Neurokinetic Therapy. It is also recommended if you are wanting to work on more than one area of the body within one appointment. Please note that while I want to help as many women as possible, I do not perform internal assessments of the pelvic floor.

I saw Cathy for my pregnancy with my second baby. What a huge contrast to my first one. Thanks to her I was able to get into my third trimester with a strong core which made a huge difference in my physical and mental well being. Starting physio with Cathy after my c-section was the best decision I made for my postpartum health. I was so scared to move after the surgery but wanted to get back to an active lifestyle.
