We have a permanent office location in downtown Bancroft, Ontario, at 73 Hastings Street North. We check phone messages in evenings and on weekends, while renters are in the cottages, and are available 24/7 to help with any emergencies that may arise at your property!. Our business was established in 2002, and we have secured a large customer database, and good advertising avenues.

We will need the full Cardholder name and mailing address as shown on the card, as well as the number, expiry, and the secure CVC number from the back of the card. We will also need an e-mail authorization or signature for this. If you are paying by cheque, please also send the final post-dated cheque along with the application form.
For those who are travelling from a distance, and don't want to pack all the extras, we have the following items available for rental from our office. Please let us know ahead of time if you will require any items. You will need to pick them up from our office during business hours (Mon-Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturdays 10am to 4pm), and bring them back before you go home.
Bancroft, Ontario is a four season playground. We offer some of Ontario's best groomed snowmobile/ATV trail systems. The area is abundant with many beautiful fresh water lakes, many of which are spring fed. The town offers many crown parks and walking trails. Algonquin Provincial Park is in our backyard.

Just ended another Fall rental in the Bancroft area!! Weather was excellent for this time of year and the colors were fantastic!!!!!
My family has been dealing with this company for about 15 years .We have been to numerous cottages in the Bancroft area and have always found the information about each one accurate and helpful in making our decision where to make often thought of family memories.
The staff has always been excellent!
We always try and leave the cottage as we found it as it is actually someone's "home away from home".

We rented two different properties for a first time this summer. We had wonderful experiences at the cottages with great memories! The cottages were clean and welcoming when you walked through the door. They had everything and more needed for cooking and entertainment.

The cottage we rented was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful location and great amenities. We did have an issues with the wifi which was disappointing, however cottage247 was very responsive in trying to repair and provided some alternate solutions in the event we required an internet connection.
I would definitely book through them again.

They just lost a repeat customer. We rented this year and notified them on November 11 that we would like the same cottage for the same weeks in 2021. On November 12th I received a call from Josh stating that there was someone else interested in our weeks but he would give us first crack. I explained that we have 3 families to coordinate with so I am 99% sure but just have to verify and I would get right back to him. He asked that I do in 24 hours and I made it clear that I would try my best but may need a bit longer in order for everyone to confirm. I was unable to get confirmation from everyone

I will not conduct business with this company or cottage owner again for the following reasons.
Recently we rented a cottage at 36 Elgin Road on Boulter Lake for a week in August.
Upon our arrival it was discovered that the paddle boat was not operational contrary to the advertised spec sheet. Shortly thereafter it became apparent that the fridge setting could not be adjusted to prevent the freezing of our vegetables.
As we were preparing to depart, the cleaners (who I believe were the owners) rang the doorbell at 12 noon (the advertised check-out time). I invited them to come in and inspect

Friendly, responsive and accessible, this company provides service I had lost hope of ever finding. Cottage Rentals 247 represents great quality rental cottages in Ontario, Canada. They are very conscientious and will not represent cottages that do not meet their exacting standards. Before our holiday, Cathy (President) discovered that our rented cottage was not what was promised. She promptly called and voluntarily refunded our deposit, offering us a chance at trying to find us a substitute.
