Following guidance available from the BC Health Officer, Fraser Health Authority, and WorkSafeBC, we are currently in Phase 3 of our FVAD Re-Opening Plan. My daughter is always looking forward to her weekly dance classes and she comes out from her dance studio with a big happy smile. All aspects of Fraser Valley Academy of Dance are top quality.

Fraser Valley Academy of Dance offers superior training with specialized focus on classical ballet, contemporary dance and musical theatre. Since 2008, Fraser Valley Academy of Dance has been owned by John C. Carney, Artistic Director, with his wife, Carolyne Carney, as School Administrator.
Having trained full-time at the Royal Ballet School in London, England, followed by a 17-year career as a professional dancer with English National Ballet and Rambert Dance Company, Mr. Carney brings extensive experience to ensure the school continues to expand as a centre of excellence in dance training.

Fraser Valley Academy of Dance, under the artistic direction of John C. Carney, offers superior dance training with specialized focus on classical ballet, contemporary dance and musical theatre. The Academy provides students with varied training in classes throughout the year in the Classical Ballet School, Musical Theatre School, Children's Choirs, Pre-Professional Academy, and Summer Programs.

Fraser Valley Academy of Dance believes strongly in giving back to our community. Our students perform regularly at local events throughout the year at no cost to students or to the organizations. We also contribute regularly to local organizations and schools by way of gift certificate donations and free performances.
The Masonic Hall houses two of our studios, the two largest dance studios with naturally sprung wooden floors, 14-foot ceilings and 40 feet of mirrors and barres. Accentuated by the classical charm of its original hardwood features, the building also contains the office, changing rooms, dance-wear shop and waiting areas.

This is an amazing school with amazing people, with examplary care. Besides teaching the dance and as such grace and elegance, it also teaches how to strive for result through hard work, self discipline and dedication. The students are greatly cared for. The place is practically an extension of your family.
