Services
Trish has been a notary public since 1993 and her primary areas of practice are transfers of real estate, mortgages, wills, powers of attorney and representation agreements. She also serves as an executor for many of her clients. Trish has been an instructor teaching notaries and students for the Society of Notaries Public of BC since 1998 and she served on the society's Board of Directors for 6 years.
Fedewich and Witt has completed over 10,000 real-estate transactions since 1978 ranging from the purchase and sale of single family homes, to sales of large acreages and assignments of strata properties. With our location in Cloverdale we have a lot of experience with the sale of acreages - especially land being sold to developers.
We have the experience to not only advise and prepare your last will and testament and other documents, but we are there to assist your family with executor services after you pass away. We have prepared thousands of wills and powers of attorneys and we are there to assist you when your family member becomes incapacitated or passes away.
There are many types of mortgages, and once you've decided to proceed with a mortgage we can help. Your lender will go through the process of helping you to select the best mortgage for your circumstances and then we assist you and the lender to put the mortgage in place.
We receive mortgage instructions from your lender and then we go to work preparing the mortgage, obtaining any strata documents, survey or title insurance required by your lender.If you have an existing mortgage or other loans to pay out we contact those lenders to obtain written payout statements.

After much procrastination, and fear of the unknown, we reached out to Fedewich & Witt to do our Wills, Powers of Attorney, and to do a land transfer to add my spouse to the title of our home. I was happy to be able to do the initial meeting via Zoom online, from the comfort of my own home. They explained everything very clearly, answered our many questions, and put our minds at ease. Afterwards, they emailed draft documents for our review. When the documents were finished, we met in person to sign them.

We had very bad experience with this firm. With our recent purchase we chose Fedewich and Witt as our lawyer. We felt like we were not dealt fairly. We have had this firm our lawyer in the past and we’re very well known to the firm. We emailed Norman, whom we were dealing with and had bad experience, to the date we have not received an apology email from him. He did not show a sense of respect and responsibility towards us. It felt like all they cared about was their money.
Will never go back to them and do not recommend them at all to our friends and family.

It has been a rewarding experience for our family working with F&W. Beginning in 2013, the office has professionally handled five (5) real estate transactions for us. Steps in each process of conveyancing were fully explained, accurately and swiftly dispatched. From reception to accounting, the office staff have been professional and cordial. Appointments are kept and office parking is free and convenient.

The service that Trish and her team provided was very professional and helpful. Trish was very thorough when going over the legal documents for buying a home. She gave some great advice and suggestions. At one point, I was quite nervous about going through with the process but Trish made me feel at ease by going over my legal rights as a buyer.
