We use modern, up-to-date equipment and techniques to do so. Dr. Kar Sakhichand grew up in Downsview, North York and is a graduate of the School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of Waterloo. He studied biochemistry at York University in Toronto during his undergraduate years.

Do you experience itchy, burning, blurry or stinging eyes? If so, it could be more than an irritation, it could be dry eye disease. Dry eye disease is becoming more prevalent today with a host of environmental conditions that can cause or exacerbate the symptoms. It is estimated that anywhere from 5% to 30% of people will have dry eye in their lifetime.
A cataract is when the normally clear lens within your eye becomes cloudy and opaque. Cataracts can vary from small areas of cloudiness to larger opaque areas that cause a noticeable blurring of vision. Cataracts are normally a function of aging and are most common in people over the age of 60. Occasionally they are found in younger people, including newborns.

Best doctor ever. He is so caring and professional. The receptionists are also super friendly. I had a very sharp pain in my eye and so they made sure I was able to come and see him immediately. Turned out I had a corneal ulcer, although I was terrified, with his calm & caring attitude, and the treatment he gave me I was able to fully recover. I would recommend him to anyone and am forever grateful to him.
