Dollarton Dental is designed with an open concept and an attractive colour scheme that relaxes and soothes our patients. Our treatment rooms have TV's for your comfort and enjoyment. We also have digital x-rays and intra-oral cameras to show you areas of concern in your mouth. We are a digital impression practice.
The advances of modern dentistry are many, but we yet have to find a way of reversing the ravages of tooth decay. Once caries has been detected in a tooth the only way to stop its progression is to remove the decay until sound tooth structure has been reached, and replace it with a filling material.
When the digital x-ray image is exposed, it can be sent directly to a computer and viewed right away. For x-ray film to be exposed, a staff member must process it in special chemicals. This takes a few minutes. Digital x-ray images can often be corrected without having to make another x-ray exposure.
Your first step with and invialign treatment program is a consultation with a trained doctor in the process of assessing whether invsalign is a suitable for you. Following the determination that you are a candidate for invisalign, a casting of your bite will be made, which is the first stage of the invisalign process.

I had not been to the dentist in a while. I was pleasantly surprised at how modern and nice the office is. They had good Covid protocols in place. The staff were the real stars!! They truly put my comfort and care first. It is obviously the culture they cultivate as everyone there were wonderful. I have never walked out of a dental appointment feeling great and I had a lot of work done!!

If it wasn't for Roxanne, I would have never gone back to this Dentist. I recently had a gold crown pop off intact. I initially thought it was here that I had gotten said crown. Apparently the crown was put on at another location and according to the Dentist at Dollarton Dental the crown was no longer viable and I needed an entire new crown which would have cost me in the vicinity of $1,500.00 I thanked him for the assessment and returned to my new Dental office. My new Dental office re-cemented the old crown (which apparently IS viable) to the tune of $148.00.

No complaints about the dental work received, but the receptionist is brutally unprofessional and rude. Had to go back and forth for months about a refund and was made to feel as though everything was my fault. A shame that years of positive experiences have been tarnished by it, but I will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend it for anyone until changes are made up front.

I have always had great care with Dr. J and his team at Dollarton Dental and that hasn’t changed through the pandemic. The facility is very clean and organized without being lifeless. I love the Ocean theme and sea wild life murals in the decor. Dr. J has done great things to improve the aesthetic and health of my teeth and smile without being too invasive, which I really appreciate and they have been very good at setting up direct billing for me so I don’t have to fuss so much with submitting my own claims. My 2 little boys have recently had their first visits to the dentist ever and they

Despite a clean environment and reasonable dental services at Dollarton Dental I was incredibly shocked to see an additional fee of $276 on my first bill just to become a client at this dental clinic (this fee was for me + 5/7 year old). After several conversions with the front office staff before my appointment I was very specific that I had just moved and wondered what would be required to make the switch to this office and still there was no mention that we would be charged this on top of the general cleaning fee. Never have I been billed $789.50 for a cleaning for myself and 2 young kids.
