Quick and reasonable here, where we become quick to realize every neighbourhood can use a Paul's they can count on!
Decent place where in my few experiences, I got value for my tailoring services. Quality work done well before the promised deadline ~ in this case, replacing a long zipper on my winter shearling.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Value
I've been to Paul's Alterations a couple of times now, most recently to have leather elbow patches sewn onto one of my favourite wool coats. They made the alteration perfectly, and the patches look natural to the coat. Service is professional and incredibly high quality. Recommended.

Traveling to Toronto on business and had a custom suit lose a pant seam. Ugly and embarrassing. I called Paul's and they said to walk in. They fixed it (beautifully) on the spot and refused to take payment. I left $20 anyway. This kind of service is rare these days and they really came through for me. Paul's reminds me of what community service businesses used to be, 30 years ago. If I have any alteration needs in the future I will pack them in my suitcase and bring them to Paul's. Thank you, Paul's. Big thank you.

Avoid this place at all costs!!
first time I came here, I had a pair of dress pants adjusted. Had to go twice because they got the measurement I asked for wrong. They offered no apologies.
Recently I decided I would give them another try since I liked the final result on my pants. I brought in a blazer with a sample. They took all of 20 seconds measuring and marking. Never put me in front of the mirror or gave me a chance to assess, If I like it. Furthermore, I asked for it to be ready in 2 days and they gave me a time of 11 am to pick up. I called in when I got off work to check If it was ready

Got a sportscoat altered to make it more slim fit. They did a great job, and it looks really nice after the alteration. It cost a little over $90 after tax (not sure how good the price is, as this is the first time I've had a coat altered). However, the improved look does seem worth over $90.
Only cons are only open weekdays; no parking lot (need street parking nearby); and no credit card (they do take debit).
I'll definitely return if I need clothes tailored in the future.

I have been coming to Paul's for as long as I can remember and their website says it was opened in 1981.
I have gone to Paul's to not only get suits altered in every way imaginable but to get my jeans altered too. They always do great work and do it fast. I gave in my jeans to be altered (pant legs were too long) on Wednesday at 1 in the afternoon and they'll be ready for me on Friday (and this isn't a rush order). Cost: $11.30 after taxes - you can tell me if that's a good price or not. Granted, I don't know a lot about tailors as this is pretty much the only place
