I always have a great experience with Anchor, they are very helpful and usually pretty quick. I recently had a flat tire in an area of a busy street that wasn’t safe for me to change myself, I called CAA and they told me it would take up to 4 hours for someone to get there so I called anchor instead and they were there within 30mins!

I am genuinely surprised by the mixed reviews as I can honestly say I don't know what we would have done tonight without Anchor Towing and our amazing towing agent Lawrence! Had the misfortune of our car refusing to start in a parking lot after running some errands. Our roadside assistance plan set us up with Anchor Towing to bring us to a local garage. Lawrence showed up on scene with a friendly smile, ready to help us in any way he could. I used their service to tow my car to dealership.
The driver that towed my car was very professional and considerate and I really enjoyed his customer service (I lost one of my tires and studs) and how he cared to not make any damage to my car.
Only downside was: They weren’t on time at all (they said 30 min but they showed up in 50 min).

Several days ago I had gotten into an accident. my truck had been swiped by a transport truck. insurance contacted Anchor Towing and soon began my rudest experience with a tow truck driver.
The guy seemed upset that I was inconveniencing him for needing a tow.
He then proceeded question why I didn't just drive it myself as my front head light was hanging.
once he stopped complaining and began to load my truck onto the flat bed he couldn't figure out how to properly tow a newer ram 1500 and he began to fight my transmission.
A few click and crunches later he tried driving it up the flat bed

My girlfriend was having an insurance claim and the vehicle was towed to the body shop by this company.
They showed up to the house without speaking to her first while we were out over in Dartmouth and we live in Halifax. Her brother let her know that they were there and we had to attempt to rush home as we didint know the car was going to be towed today and needed to get belongings out of the car. We asked to have the tow truck wait but they were going to bill us for the wait time. They were the 5th company I called, and the only one that answered. Arrived in about 45 minutes. Had the car out of the ditch in no time and towed home 15 minutes away. Service was great! Unfortunately, I feel like they gouged me, charging $230. I later had the car towed to a shop a lot further away by another company for only $100.
