We're specialists when it comes to military medals. Not only do we frame them but we can also clean, polish, replace ribbons and mount them for proper display. If you not certain about what it is that you want to do, let us guide you in making decisions or choices by explaining all the options. Not all medals need to be cleaned, polished or changed.

Terry is amazing! I've had many pictures framed there, predominantly sketches of client's homes once they have sold. He goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy with his service. He even went to his store on his day off so that I could pick up a framed home sketch. He really takes care of his customers. My go to place for all framing! Thanks Terry!

Initially stopped in on a scouting mission while waiting on bicycle service.. After meeting and talking to the owner I was drawn back with two inherited family paintings that were long over due for reframing. They were so pleasant and helpfull with suggestions and input about complimentry colours etc. I love art but i am not an artist and appreciated this kind of help.
I have many framing businesses closer to my home, but is was more than worth the travel on transit from Toronto to deal with "ARTISTS FRIEND"

I loved this store under the old owner, Pat. And feel the same way with the new owner, really not so new, 8yrs now. Terry was INCREDIBLE. He saved me on a framed gift that I had to arrange, that I only had less then 24hrs of turn around time. THANK YOU Terry for such amazing service. It's so good to know that are people and businesses that care about their customers and products. You will continue to have me as a customer for a very long time.

I would recommend The Artist's Friend to anyone who is looking for exceptional expertise, friendly service and amazing prices. Terry was very helpful when I brought in my BF's father's war medals to be mounted as a surprise Christmas gift. Having no clue where to begin, Terry was very informative and helpful. I put all my trust into Terry's vision and the end product was outstanding! I was so pleased and my BF absolutely loved how The Artist's Friend created a touching tribute to his father.

My first trip to Artist's Friend was to have a 50" x 65" vintage poster framed. The owner, Terry, was in the midst of packing the store as they were moving to a new location later that week. Given the circumstances and the size of the job it would've been totally appropriate for Terry to ask me to come back once they were set up in Clarkson, yet it was quite the opposite.
Terry welcomed me graciously, set aside the packing, cleared the work table and took the time to try many options before I found the perfect frame. His recommendations for matting and finishing touches were spot on. The finished

I brought in a number of random items to be framed together in a "shadow box" at a Box Store recently. After an hour and a half and an outrageous quote for a messy and cheap looking product, I went to The Artists Friend on a whim. Terry worked within my budget and the end product went wayyyy beyond my expectations! He even finished the work within five days! The shadow box of sports memorabilia (golf!) is just beautifully presented. The finishes are gorgeous, and the way he put it all together was just so artistic and masterful. I will never go anywhere else for framing!! He knows his products

Just got a canvas stretched here. Had visited a couple other places and were given ridiclious price points. Had all but given up home but was thankful I made the stop here! Terry was fantastic and really informative, understanding what would make my canvas look good while still managing my budget. I will definitely be coming back!
