Nick Argue, CPA, CA, is Chief Financial Officer for the Strongman Group. Nick provides strategic direction, financial leadership, asset management and creates enterprise value for the Strongman Group and the various real estate investment companies under management. Nick has a wide breadth of financial skills developed over many years of advising global organizations and real estate companies.

Prior to joining the Strongman Group in 2016, Nick was Senior Manager with Ernst & Young LLP ("EY") in Vancouver and spent 14 years as a business advisor to clients primarily in the real estate industry. Nick also worked for EY's London, UK and Auckland, New Zealand offices. Nick is a Chartered Professional Accountant and earned his B.Comm.

We serve a variety of corporations, investment groups and individual clients. In all of our investment ventures, our policy is to assume a substantial portion of the investment ourselves, so that the potential risk and/or reward is shared with our partners. Our approach in each case varies according to the needs and requirements of the specific investor, and generally falls under three categories.
Deals present themselves. That is the nature of business. The real question is whether they're a good fit or not. In over 85 years of managing our own real estate assets, we've learned to recognize sensible, profitable opportunities that fit with who we are and what we believe. Knowing what works for us has helped increase our overall real estate holdings more than ten-fold since 1984.
Given our extensive history owning and managing investment properties across Canada, The Strongman Group has considerable experience working with large, national real estate companies, small owner operations and an established network of commercial agents. These companies and individuals are all highly successful at identifying appropriate investment properties in rural and urban areas throughout the country.
The Strongman Group also provides turn-key service for our clients covering the acquisition and development of property or raw land. With over 100 years of experience developing properties, we're able to manage every phase of development from purchase, through planning, rezoning, architectural design and all aspects of construction management.
The company is involved in several joint ventures in various provinces throughout the country. These enterprises assume different forms, and we're always open to discussing new and appropriate opportunities. In some cases, these ventures require substantial capital investment. In these instances, we might approach a number of our established clients and/or qualified investors who might wish to participate with us as partners.
