New Tecumseth Optometry Clinic was founded in 2002 by Dr. Hari Amarnath and Dr. John Peacock. The 2 doctors met with similar goals: to find a small Ontario town to settle in and raise their families. After moving to Alliston, they have been involved in the community as medical professionals and business owners ever since.
Our team wants to ensure you find answers for any vision problem you may experience. To do this, we use the latest cutting-edge technology available to search for issues that could impact your vision. These tools are used for every eye exam, allowing our team to diagnose problems and find solutions that deliver.
In order to ensure that your appointment is fast, easy and efficient for you, please be so kind as to fill out and submit the following information on our secure portal prior to your appointment date. The best way to ensure your child's eyes are protected as they grow up is by making sure they attend regular eye exams. Eye exams will help discover potential issues early and provide your child with opportunities to preserve their vision. Newborns should have their first eye exam between 6 and 9 months or as prescribed by an optometrist.

All staff are very friendly! Brooke was super knowledgeable with the pre-assessment and was able to answer all my question! Dr.Peacock was very friendly and welcoming. Reassured me nothing was wrong with my eyes and had made very useful suggestions on how I can help my eyes for the future. Lauren was very energetic, helpful and honest when checking me out and helping me select polarized sunglasses! Very positive experience, will be coming back in the future!

Took my daughter here for a check up. This clinic is amazing, Dr. Peacock was patient and kind to my daughter. He explained everything throughout the exam. He then introduced us to Lauren to assist in picking out her new glasses. This lady is amazing, took time to make sure her glasses were just what she wanted. She even went above and beyond to ensure her clients were satisfied. The service and eye exam was so great that my husband and myself both bought glasses for ourselves! Definitely the place to go!

As a new client, everything and everyone is unknown - but from the very first phone call scheduling my first visit all the way to walking out their doors after the actual first visit, there are not enough words to describe how phenomenal the experience was! I started my eye journey before Covid 19 and the start of my journey was great the staff were very friendly knowledgeable the doctor was great and I ordered glasses for. Myself and my husband.
