The adoption of such names is very common in Rwanda as many of the growers are small-holders and would not produce sufficient quantity of coffee for sale on their own, so they get together as a co-operative through the washing station.

Absolutely LOVE their Pumpkin Pie Latte, made with actual, real pumpkin. No syrup-nonsense. I drink decaf, so can't comment on their usual coffee fare, but I legit make an effort to get my hands on their amazing PPL.
I've got loads of coffeeshops around me, but none make theirs with actual pumpkin, so hats off to Outpost!

It a bad coffee shop if you have no other choice and need your caffeine boost. I personally don’t recommend it if you are a picky coffee junky like me. The shop is pricy and not very clean. While I was picking up my order. I noticed wasps flying over the baked goodies. I informed the barista and she gave me a blah like response😮 I got a vegan oatmeal raisin cookies that taste like pure sugar and the green tea lattes tasted like grass weed. Sorry but I didn’t have a good experience at this shop at all.

It seems like there are some "Local Guides" on here leaving reviews that are very biased and based on a one time experience. Its unfortunate that these guides have the influence they have, anyways I digress.
I have been visiting Outpost Coffee Roasters for the better part of 2 years now. From the first visit to the latest its been an absolute pleasure. I am not a coffee Junky...instead I consider myself a coffee Lover down from the science of coffee to the enjoyment of the brewed cup. So lets Review, properly:
Appearance: Very easy layout for a coffee novice to understand what is going on. Someone

I make 1.5hrs round trip drive to this place every two weeks to buy my coffee. For over a year I’ve been searching for good beans all the way from Oakville to downtown Toronto and tried every roasters along the way and Lefthook is it! Love this place so much I’d much rather drive here in person rather than order online. Staffs are friendly and espresso tonic really hits the spot. And when you see a shop pulling shots with van der westen you know they are serious about their coffee.

Outpost Coffee Roasters is open for takeout, and ready to keep this city perked up (even in quarantine). This small-batch craft coffee roastery on Bloor Street West embraces seasonality and uniqueness - and it translates in their robust Americanos, frothy oat milk lattes, and satisfying baked goods. If you're stuck at home, get your caffeine fix with a coffee subscription featuring house-roasted beans.

Full disclosure, I dropped in to get a baked good, and did not sample their coffee. ALSO, I love hipster coffee joints, pretention and all!
My blood sugar was running a little low, so i decided to drop in for a cookie. The offerings seem to change day to day (always a good sign), and so I ordered a ginger and molasses cookie. It was chewy, well spiced and overall delicious.
The space is minimalist, and rustic, and the staff (guy behind the counter?) is kind and unassuming. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice little spot to stop by high park!
Sidenote: Like all hipster

Steps from Dundas West station off Bloor, Outpost is a cozy cafe with an open garage style entrance and a few outdoor seats - a great place to catch up with friends, grab a bite to eat, or do some work.
I tried a kaffelemonad for the first time - I think it was a combination of cold brew coffee, lemonade, tonic water or soda. It was definitely interesting but I don't think I would order it again just from a personal taste preference.
WiFi was strong and reliable, but there were only two plugs that I saw available. It seemed like a great neighbourhood cafe with regulars! The table next

Came by for breakfast the other day and it was phenomenal! Coffee shop was hipster and just the way I like it!
Started off with the iced mocha which was tasty and not too sweet!
The chocolate croissant was freshly baked and very light!
Staff was super friendly too!
They have seating both indoors and outdoors!

This place is cozy and ideal for those who really like a cup of good coffee. My cafe latte was (apart from pretty) excellent and the pastries were to die for (I tried a bechamel croissant and a while chocolate cookie, both were excellent). My friend also bought coffee there, a brazilian blend that smelled wonderful, at a very reasonable price.
Goes straight to my favorite coffee places list. :)

Outpost Coffee Roaster is a small and cute coffee shop in the area.
The barista is so welcoming and nice. And they made a balanced macchiato with nice crema.
I love that they are roasting their own beans in the small bean roaster in house. I ended up buying a bag to support small local business.
Outpost Coffee Roaster is an awesome place to chillax with a cup of coffee if you are in the area.
Highly Recommended.

If you are a coffee purist this place checks all the boxes. The location is right around the corner from Dundas West station, near lots of parking options (although pay options).
The owner, Tony is extremely knowledgeable and polite which really adds to the experience.
Its got a great hipster vibe, a roll up door for summer patio coffee, beautiful exposed wood beams, and wood lined counter.
The coffee is out of this world with many options. I personally had a blend directly delivered from Brazil. I also had a rose flavored donut which tasted like it was made just for me.
