Dr. Tali Shenfield is an expert in the areas of school psychology and child clinical psychology. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Toronto and is licensed as a Psychologist by the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Dr. Shenfield is accredited by the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology and is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association.
It is important to take care of your mental health the same way you take care of your physical body. Emotional problems, if neglected, may lead to unnecessary suffering, mental disorders, and affect wellbeing of the whole family. There is a common misconception that only people with mental health issues need therapy.
We offer Psychoeducational, Gifted, ADHD, and Social-Emotional Testing and Career Assessments. Psychological assessments use psychometric and projective techniques to evaluate various aspects of child development. Often, they are required for educational placement, access to services, and special accommodations at school or university.
Cogmed is a scientifically proven training program recommended for children and adults with attention and working memory problems. The training is conducted under a supervision of a licensed psychologist. Cogmed is offered for school-age children (RM module) and adults (QM module).

It has been effectively used with the general population as well as in individuals with ADHD, working memory deficits due to learning disability, cochlear implants, stroke, acquired brain injury, etc.
There are few things in life as important as getting an education that suits your talents and interests and choosing the right career path. Our trained psychologists can help make a right decision. Our centre uses the Multimodal career counselling system (MCCS).

MCCS involves three 50-minute interactive work sessions with a psychologist, completion of several questionnaires at home, as well as the counselors work on analysis, scoring, and interpretation. The student and his/her parents are then invited for a feedback session where the results will be presented to them and options will be discussed.

If I could give zero stars I would. My time is limited to apply for an assessment and it is imperative for me to do so. I came across this clinic and after emailing them multiple times I decided to get the assessment done here. I am appalled to have been notified JUST AS I DECIDED ON THEM AND CONTACTED MY SCHOOL that this clinic does not take people who can't afford payment and seek funding through organizations to receive help paying for the outrageous prices. I received this email after I requested a quote, "We don’t do it, sorry. I suggest trying another clinic that is working directly with

Dr. Steinke did an ADHD assessment for my son last year and Dr. Shenfield did career counselling for my daughter this summer. Very happy with the results. Both psychologists are top-level professionals!

I took my kid for a gifted assessment here. I compared a few psychology centers and chose this one based its very positive google reviews. The reception area was tidy, clean and welcoming. The whole arrangement for pre-assessment inquiry, appointment setting, assessment, and report delivery was well organized. Most impressively, Dr. Tali is a very kind, responsible and professional psychologist, just as good as what is indicated in other clients’ reviews here.

Dr. Shenfield and her team are very professional and helpful. I took my son for gifted assessment and everything was very organized and on time. They prepared the report for school application in 2 days although their normal process is usually 10 days. A+++

Regular sessions with Dr. Anat Elbaum have been a complete game-changer for me. The practical benefits that I’ve been seeing in my life as a direct result of working with her will carry with me wherever I may go. I now have tools and insight that I probably wouldn't have come across if not for Anat’s natural ability to create a warm and safe space combined with her professional expertise of twenty years in the field of psychology. Not knowing what to expect from the process, I was pleasantly surprised to find myself instantly comfortable during sessions and at ease in the atmosphere of her

We decided to see a child psychologist when my younger son started having serious problems at school. After a few months of therapy, I see many positive changes, he is much calmer, a lot less impulsive and interacts with others much better.

Having to watch our child suffer from separation anxiety was one of the worst experiences for us as parents. After close friends encouraged us to speak with our doctor we did. Our paediatrician Dr. Greenberg referred us to Dr. Tali Shenfield at Richmond Hill Psychology Center and we took our son there for an initial psychological assessment. Dr. Shenfield was very personable and made our family feel very comfortable right away. She assessed the situation and suggested a few options for treatment, with play therapy being her first choice. We agreed that play therapy would be best for our son. Play
