At BC Spray Foam & Insulation Systems, we use a range of different spray foam products. Spray foam has its own building code, and is approved for thermal insulation, air barriers, and vapour barriers. Spray foam can be applied as a liquid that will then expand as foam. As such, it fills every single nook, cranny, crevice, hole, crack and gap making a perfect, continuous air-tight seal every time, regardless of complex framing and penetrations.
Some people prefer batt insulation because of its lower cost, and because it can provide effective insulation for dry spaces. Batt insulation is made up of fiberglass and it's designed to trap air inside the fibers to slow down the transfer of heat. We've worked with Steve and his team on multiple projects now and are highly impressed with their work. They are reliable, affordable, and do high quality work. The engineer who completed the pressure test on our last house couldn't stop talking about how good of a job they did on the vapour barrier. Steve and his team at BC Spray Foam came to my rescue when my builder left town and wouldn’t help with 2 leaking cantilevers. They were prompt, efficient, courteous and super tidy. They protected my stucco, covered my garden and picked every single piece of foam off the grass. They’re very reasonably priced and a totally professional team of trades!! Highly recommend them!
